I'll be completely honest, I didn't grow up with X-Men anything. Throughout the entire video, I see Wolverine and Cyclops (the obvious ones), some 90's teenager, and Robot Captain Planet.
Blob can create a gravity effect on himself, rooting him to whatever surface he's standing in, which makes him practically immovable. His blubbery frame is also extremely resistant to damage, though his face is a lot more vulnerable. The only times Blob has been moved is when Hulk got REALLY mad and sent him and a large chunk of ground he was standing on flying, and when another strongman hero tunneled under him and picked up Blob and the chunk of ground he was standing on. I also believe at one point Juggernaut and Blob fought, and it was literally the Unstoppable Force meeting the Immovable Object.
Dazzler was created as a disco Superhero in the early 80's as an attempt to be cool, when Disco was dying out. She got a solo for a lot of years, appeared on some teams and now she's got some piercings and a gothish aesthetic and cameos from time to time. Pretty sure she's on the new A-Force.
Dazzler converts sound into light, and she can use that light to make lasers out of it, along with photon blasts and illumination. Jubilee creates glowing pustules that can be used to blind people, but if used properly, she can cause a stroke by detonating one of those pustules inside someone's head. But I think she's a vampire now.
If he's like me, I don't like that Deadpool can do whatever he wants and we can chalk it up to his power set/fourth wall break. Sure, there are times I think he's funny, but most times I find it more insufferable.
Matt doesn't like Marvel much at all. His main complaints are that the characters are relatable and that (and this is pretty much a movie only thing bar Deadpool and to an extent She-Hulk) they're not very serious during tense situations. He prefers his superheroes the DC way, aloof from the rest of humanity and always serious.

Actually Deadpool was introduced February 1991, this game came out February 1992 so yeah he was around , just not yet morhped into the lovable goofball we love or hate yet
This whole beating people up while they're down thing in this game reminds me of the Battletoads on the arcade, which has the same thing. The neat thing is that the animations are pretty gruesome, for instance Zitz drills enemies' necks. It's great.
X men is one of my favorite Marvel team because they usually have the most realistic character development (especially when their written by Chris Claremont), memorable story arcs, and a lot of great writer runs, my favorites (ex Claremont) are Grant Morrison, Jason Aaron, Rick Remender's X-Force run, and Chris Yost and Craig Kyle's run on both X-Force and the storyline Second Coming.
I wonder how many comments will be filled with Evil Craig quotes. "Magneto should NEVER smile." "Looks like Wolverine bathed in Rogaine." "Why is Jubilee in the game? Wait, Dazzler? I am lucky enough to be able to go to a barcade and play this game on the legendary 6-player cabinet. Its always a good time with both friends and strangers.

I used to play this game a few times some years ago during Teen Game Night at my library. I did find some type of trick to this.When you have a swarm of enemies when you die,activate your special immediately when you hit the ground cause the invincible frames don't count to drain away your LP. Pretty helpful tip for when you play this the next time.

to answer your question about dazzler as of A-Force (2016) issue 7 has gotten a version of thors hammer that she got from a different dimension version of herslef that survived the destution of battle world (long story short about batttle world the multiverse was ending dcotor doom got the power of the beyonders made a new universe that was made up of salvage parts of destroyed universes but he had a serious god complex and also used his powers to kind of punish other versions of hte heros he knew in 616and made super villains into kind of presidents of each univerrses area and he was eventually defeated if you want to read this even its called secret wars 2015 i recomend only reading the main titled because there are 144 tie in comics each running about 5 issues each)
I love ya Matt, but Cyclops is one of the more powerful X-men. He can wipe out armies by looking at them. Also, Jubilee can nuke the friggin planet if she really tried. She doesn't just make sparks, she makes atomic explosions. I wish I could sit with these guys during lets plays. Not to be negative...I just wish I could contribute to the conversation hah :)
