Brands Hatch - Crash and Action - BTRC Weekend - November 2022

An unbelievably wet weekend of racing for my first ever Truck meeting, spent most of Sunday stood in what could only be described as a small river. However, rain or shine, good racing is good racing, and this weekend certainly delivered that by the boat load; loved seeing the trucks but for me the Minis always stand out, such close racing in tricky conditions, sideways almost every lap making it all look so easy, what's not to love!
Saturday was a pretty dull day action wise, the resurfacing has really proven to help the drivers in tricky conditions, the other side of the circuit however is clearly still very difficult... The Sunday saw a bit more action, couple of incidents here and there, with a fair bit of desTRUCKtion in one of the races (sorry... I'll see myself out). Overall, not a bad weekend!

Excellent, takes me back a few years, that was the exact spot where my family and I watched the 1985 & 1986 GP. Must go again. 👍🏻
Awesome video :) I remember watching the Mini se7ens and Miglias as a ten year old, standing at the tall fences on the main straight opposite the pits. Have followed them ever since :)
That truck crash at 7:40 reminded me of the BTCC pile up there back in 2007 when Mat Jackson spun in front of the pack on first lap in similar conditions.
Also had to laugh at how much they all destroyed the run off round at McLaren 🤣. Grass was pure mud by Sunday evening (like the car parks from what I've heard - I was only there Saturday, did the WHT Sunday)
Don't usually comment on things like this, but... picture quality and camera work are fantastic. Thanks for posting.

I went on Sunday as I had work on Saturday and omg I literally got out of the car on southbank and walked to grayum Hill bend and I was drenched I was in all light grey clothes and I was wet beyond belief

No this event is just one of the headline events on the Brands Hatch calendar which is followed by a big firework display
