- Calamity Mine is a Vekoma mine train at Walibi Belgium. This is a well-themed coaster going through and around mountains and mining structures. And I think it's the best themed coaster in the Walibi chain.

I’d give it a 10/10 simply for being in RCT2. It was a childhood throwback for me when I rode it
Nice!
Kinda similar to Colorado Adventure, so I love it!
But without the crazy enclosed bit and airtime.
COOL
Yes
Fun ride, but be sure to avoid a wheelseat. During summer it can get 40-60 min waits btw.
Oh wow. It had the shortest wait by far in my visit.
Love this park, gonna miss it for the winter
2023 isn't too far away.
@@CanobieCoaster its closed until march or april
Next year they’ll be open during winter. Can’t wait to ride Kondaa in the dark!
@@vespinonl FR?? im buying that subscription mext year
The only mine train I’ve been on in cedar creek mine ride but I’m exited to experience a vekoma mine train soon
This one is better.
When i hear the name ''Colorado'' for a Coaster, I instantly think about ''Colorado Adventure'' in Phantasialand because thats my home park xD
Much prefer Colorado Adventure
From the thumbnail pic it looks like a waterfall effect over the train is supposed to be there, but looks like it was switched off.
I have seen videos with it working in the past.
What do you think about the rides on Calamity Mine at Walibi Belgium, Colorado Adventure at Phantasialand, Mammut at Gardaland, Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris, El Diablo at Port Aventura, Cedar Creek Mine Ride at Cedar Point, and Olandese Volante at Rainbow Magicland?
Olandese is the worst of the bunch by far. I'd ride the others.
There is also a clone at Gardaland, except that clone has an extension with a 3rd lifthill.
It's decent.
mammut
It is good.
The Gardaland one ran a bit stronger from what I remember.
@@CanobieCoaster Yeah it's actually kinda forceful, but still not Colorado Adventure level.
What do you think about Calamity Mine at Walibi Belgium, Colorado Adventure at Phantasialand, Mammut at Gardaland, and Olandese Volante at Rainbow Magicland?
The one at Rainbow MagicLand is awful. Calamity Mine is fine. Colorado Adventure is quite good.
If I ask you, what is your favorite thing about the ride? The dips, the helixes, or the theming and visuals?
The theming.
What do you think about Olandese Volante? has similar trains, similar layouts and I think many people liked both Calamity Mine and Olandese Volante?
Not sure why Olandese is so rough, but it shakes and bangs badly.
1:44 Shoutout to the noise a usb audio interface makes when a phone transmits data next to it lmao
Good review as always tho
Is that what causes the crinkle? I thought it was if the mic's wire was moving too much.
@@CanobieCoaster that makes a different, much louder and more annoying sound. The phone antenna just gently interferes with the analog amplifier circuit
Of all Vekoma mine train coasters you've ridden in the world, did you find all them to be tolerable? How many did you find to be painful?
Most are comfortable. The one at Magic Land is an exception.
What do you think, did you find all Vekoma mine train coasters you've ridden to be tolerable?
Most are.
I would still prefer arrow mine trains, even as they are rougher, I think that roughness adds to it, and they are more out of control like. Iv ridden Big Thunder Mountain and it did pretty much nothing for me and I am not a super picky person but I'd much prefer forces over theming even for family coasters.
I prefer smooth rides.
Was Calamity Mine your second favorite ride at Walibi Belgium?
No
Did you find all Vekoma mine train coasters tolerable?
Most are, but the one at Magic Land is not.
0:10 that fountain is cool
Yes
