Love that colour, my bf is deja vu green, im not sure if i like it. Maybe the box could do with a flush with weed sprayer bottles technique if driving it doesn't help.

Hey mate, I actually have flushed the transmission already but I more than likely will be doing it again once it’s back on the road and registered. A lot of people seem to like this color… Deja Vu is nice as well.

Hey mate, well done. Did the rear for the wife's FG XR6 last year although only done 60000 Ks had to replace rotors and pads as LHS rear only had 4mm on the pads and lots of grooves. Not sure what the problem was as the guides were working well, but all good now. Great post, thanks.

The cars getting there mate. I hope they don't pick on too many things at the pits. Good luck 👍

@@vincekara9446 Thanks mate, it’s scrubbed up pretty well for what it was. I’m hoping the transmission will hold up, time will tell I guess.
      How is your beast going?

@Jeenzy79 re transmission, like you've mentioned, i will drive it a bit more and sus out if it continues to slip. It may need more fushes. However, I'm sure you know the fluid is not cheap. Re my XR8, I'm enjoying the car and driving around. I love the sound of the V8. Got quoted around $1200 to fix the clear coat issue which I might fix. My immediate fix was to install an external tranny cooler. I need a few more applications of interior cleaning due to the previous owner having a cat. Thier piss doesn't seem to go away. 3 more Bissel wet vac jobs may clear it up. Looking forward to your updates. Cheers

@vincekara9446 Good to hear your using the XR8, it looks amazing now so I can only imagine once you get the clear coat sorted. I imagine the cat piss might tingle the nose a little 😂 like you said tho, nothing a few cleans won’t get rid of. It’s such a beautiful car!
Fingers crossed the transmission in the breeze car comes good. It’s not slipping as such but just making a bit of a noise on the first couple of shifts but then disappears completely, I have enough fluid left for one more flush so I may get to that once it’s registered which will hopefully be sooner than later.
      Cheers mate! 👍🏼

@Jeenzy79 Thanks mate. Yeah if it slips, do another flush as they'll still be a bit of milkshake in the converter. Are you planning to keep or flip? Knowing you, we're all looking forward to see another BF.

@@vincekara9446 Will definitely do that, it's having an inspection tomorrow so it will be it first real drive and I'll be able to see how it goes.
I'll more than likely get the worst of the panels like the rear bumper and the passenger fender touched up and then move it on. Unless something too good to pass on pops up, I probably wont get another one for a while as I plan on putting a Turbo on my Fairmont once this one is gone. Cheers.

Hi Buddy, What Make and Model of pressure washer did you get off ebay? I've seen a few and not sure as to what they are like. High pressure gives a better finish of getting crap off your under carrage. Those Bars and Spears look dam great. Well done. Cheers Teddy.

@@Teddykhil Thanks Teddy, much appreciated mate. The pressure washer I used is actually from bunnings. It’s a a Full Boar 3200psi jobbie but I actually bought the nozzle that I used in the video from eBay as the one that comes with the washer has quite a long wand on it so it’s not great for getting in the hard to reach spots.
      Cheers
