Love the quickshifter and blipper on my Tuono! Sounds sick on your R1 as well. I thought the R1M came stock with a blipper? It’s pretty amazing how these systems work. The quickshifter cuts the ignition for a fraction of a second when that pressure sensor inline with the shift linkage feels you are trying to shift. Once the ignition is cut, the transmission is unloaded and free to slip into the next gear. A quickshifter works like a clutchless upshift (preload shifter, roll off throttle quickly and back on, bike slips into the next gear and continues going) but eliminates the manual throttle work. The blipper is a little more complicated, because it actually blips the throttle bodies when that sensor is activated. That allows the bike to complete a clutchless downshift without the need to blip the throttle manually. I actually made a video similar to this a little while back. Would appreciate it if you checked it out and shared your thoughts and feedback :) ruclips.net/video/D_D723AIFXY/видео.html
@@imkay my pleasure man! Appreciate the pin 🙏 Lmk if you want to go for a ride sometime. I’m in your area and happy to share any track-related info I can as you prepare for your first trip out there! Been doing it for years. It’s the best. 🙂
@@benzobag to quickshift up, the throttle must be open. Otherwise, cutting the ignition using the quickshifter won't unload the transmission and let the gears shift, because they are loaded by the resistance from the road and engine braking.
Also for newbs out there. Even if you don't have a quick shifter or auto blipp, You don't need clutch to shift. I've been not using clutch for years on all kinds of bikes and quads. My 07gsxr been no clutch for 2 years upshift and downshift, no quickshifter no auto blipper. I manually blip the throttle for downshifts and a quick release for upshifts.
The transmission is designed to shift without the clutch. It's literally exactly the same design as those sequential dog box transmissions car guys pay 10grand for and rally cars use.
@@jeremytoro993 I will try to explain a bit more. On an upshift it's easier cuz your going throttle on/off/shift/on. But on a downshift it will not shift if your slowing down off throttle already. You have to give it a slight on/off before the shift can happen. If your already off and try to push down on the lever it won't move.
Great video bruh.... Just curious is it safe to use quick shifter, auto blipper at extremely crazy high speeds on the track...and can we downshift without rolling off the throttle...
I’ve never road a street bike before and I’ve been wanting to get into it and have been trying to find opinions from people on what my first bike should be to learn to ride. I’ve never had to use a clutch for any vehicle or bike before so it would be a huge learning stage for me. What would be you go to bike for a brand new rider?
Honda Grom. CBR 250 . Ninja 250. Or even the Yamaha MT-03 if you want something more comfortable and upright. Grom would be the best if you are literally brand spanking new and have no experience using the controls. And depending on your height and weight maybe go up to a 300. I would recommend the Grom for absolute zero experience people. Just cuz they are so fun and easy and you don't have to pay as much for mistakes both physically and money wise. But you should be fine with a 250 also. And then after that I would still bump up to another slower bike before you get a real Super Sport or something with some power. Like the Ninja 400 or maybe the 650. Cuz even a 600cc super sport is insane fast. So I would recommend 2 steps of bikes before you get into a real Super Sport street bike.
hey man make these kind of videos more and more... like super bike electronics, and what is ECU and why new bikes come with locked and how to unlock it, by doing that which kind of benefits we get, and why we need after market exhaust and especially full system, how it improve bike speed like these concepts
@Silent dead gamer ... my comment was directed at his tone when he said what I quoted. He corrected himself when he was close enough to see what bike it was.
Surah Ali Imaran Chapter 3 Verse 64 Say, “O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah .” But if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].”
Why are you insisting about not wearing the protective gears? I remember that you broke your hand or fingers by crashing your bike before if I am not wrong.

I thought you weren't supposed to let off throttle with QS
And where should your throttle position be during auto blip?

I have an ‘18 R1, and thankfully YAMAHA added clutchless down shifts for that model for the QS system

did you downshift without using the clutch or just just upshift?
cos downshifting without the clutch can damage the gearbox but upshifting doesnt
