Oddly enough ECWs dying breath was it's loudest
This night is a testament to Cena's ability to work a crowd. A lesser performer would've just left it alone when the shirt was thrown back. Not Cena. He thought "this is the easiest heat I'll ever get" and then KEPT throwing it back!
The single greatest night in ECW history
Can you imagine if Cena was supposed to go over and you look up and see a sign that says if Cena wins we riot. And you know it's gonna happen.
That crowd made it a real match
The dude that wiped his ass with it was flipping him the hard double bird too lmaooooo classic moment.
That was hilarious. Great match. I hate that they couldn’t give RVD the clean win but otherwise it was really special
Interestingly enough, I bet that’s the most valuable Cena shirt too simply because of this story.
Cena read the room, and for one night only after his face turn, played a heel once again, and it was great
Props to Cena dealing with that crowd
That crowd was legendary lol
Cena had one of the most bad ass entrances in wrestling history that night
Props to Cena, came out like a boss. Head down, belt up high!
ECW had a different breed of audience.
Since those days, cena never missed a bit . He kept working fans and never disappointed .
"RVD!" "RVD!" "RVD!"
RVD was a main eventer who should’ve held many more world titles than he actually did. One of those guys who was over with the fans from day 1, and carried a lot of heat with certain talent because of his zero effort connection with the fans. Real recognizes real, and the fans always loved RVD, no matter what company he was with. Him going over on the first Monday night TNA was the right call. But he should’ve been more long term than Jeff, because he was much more dependable. Vince also left a lot of money on the table by canning him over weed. He and Cena had a natural chemistry, and probably could’ve gotten 2 years out of their feud, with Edge in the mix.
How did Rob NOT know. ECW crowds have always been legendary and intense
That was a REAL ECW crowd
This match is one of my all-time favorites. The crowd was lit, the quality of the match was good, and the ending was great
