A small comparison between the Tecsun PL-320 and the Tecsun PL-330 the buttons have a slightly different layout on the Tecsun PL-320 and other buttons have been added on the PL-320. I also have the older Tecsun PL-380 and you can still buy that radio but of course but it is not as good as the Tecsun PL-320 or the Tecsun PL-330 in terms of features and speaker sound. But yes i still love the Tecsun PL-380 although it is a few years old now a simpler radio but nice so think already now that the Tecsun PL-320 is another great small new compact radio from Tecsun and I hard test it now but so far I am not disappointed, but on the contrary very impressed with the Tecsun PL-320. And also the new Tecsun PL-320 has a gray greenish color the Tecsun PL-330 has a black color but for me it are easier to read the text on the gray greenish color i think the the text is made a little clearer on Tecsun PL-320.

Hi, regarding reception on FM and the shortwave bands, the Tecsun PL-320 and Tecsun PL-330 are equally good. I can't say much about the AM bands because Sweden stopped broadcasting on the AM bands in 2010, so AM is more or less quiet in Sweden. But I know that the AM bands are good on both of these radios where the AM bands are still used a lot, for example in the USA. What differentiates the Tecsun PL-320 and the Tecsun PL-330 is that the Tecsun PL-330 has SSB (single sideband band) on the shortwave bands and synchronous detection. However, on the Tecsun PL-320, you don't have SSB on the shortwave bands or synchronous detection. But the Tecsun PL-320 has more bandwidth filters than the Tecsun PL-330 and a favorite button for your radio stations and a kickstand. So if you don't need SSB or synchronous detection, I recommend the Tecsun PL-320. I personally like the Tecsun PL-320 a little better than the Tecsun PL-330, but both the Tecsun PL-330 and Tecsun PL-320 are lovely radios to use. They are small and compact, have a good display with amber backlight display light, and have very good reception and are very sensitive on the FM bands and shortwave bands.
