I tested the Prunus J-167 FM/AM/SW pocket radio a bit today on the shortwave. The reception was not the best, and I only used the built-in telescopic antenna. It's also not really the right place to test this radio. I have so much electronics in the apartment and it interfere with the shortwave bands. The antenna is a bit too short also on the Prunus J-167, but you can use a wire or a reel antenna and clip on the antenna for better reception. I think the Prunus J-167 still does well with the built-in telescopic antenna.
One problem however is that in many inexpensive shortwave radios and pocket radios can, overload on the shortwave bands if you clip a wire to the antenna. I haven't tried c...
