Sam, 2 years ago when Covid started I had no idea 🤷♀️ how to cook ANYTHING. But now, after watching your show for 2 years I am an amazing cook!! My husband is so happy. He refuses to go back to eating in restaurants because my cooking 🧑🍳 is now WAY better! We eat great food every day. I bought a cast iron skillet & a deep fryer & of course our outdoor Barbeque & that’s all we needed to transform our mundane past culinary experience into a delicious food extravaganza every night!!! Our neighbours are constantly inviting themselves over for a cocktail 🍹 & to see what “Sam the cooking guy” magic I have going on in my kitchen! We thank you Sam. I started watching Sam in San Diego when he started his show on cable TV there. I moved away and missed his show and was amazed to find him on RUclips a while ago. I still get 91X (my fave radio station I grew up on in San Diego) where I live now and Sam.. all I need now is the amazing San Deigo taco shop Mexican food and the beaches.... and the hot women... :)
Being deployed and watching this makes me miss Americana cooking , keep doing what you do . I cant wait to rotate back to the world and get back into the kitchen, thank you for everything you do

Hey Sam I just made the chili but I used Ground Chuck and some Modelo Negra and I must say it was soooo bomb , thanks Sam I’m shocked it was that good and it had even more flavor since I used a lot of ground chuck
Butcher here. There is nothing wrong with ground chuck. It has a lot of flavor, but it also has a lot of fat. But remember, fat means flavor. Add in the other fillers like tomato, beans, etc to fill it in and balance out the grease and you're golden.
You know what..... the ONLY thing that was worth a dam to me this year (2020) was finding this channel. Sam & Max you guys are really cool I truly enjoy watching your content. It puts a smile on my face and also encourages me to cook.

I started making chili with smoked brisket and have never gone back... so good.
@@Kiba114 the good thing about brisket is that it doesn't really overcook by heating the chili up. Though this smoked ribeye may be really good for a dish if you eat it all in one go.
Damn good idea. I'll have to try that with my leftovers the next time I smoke a brisket.

I made this tonight, I am still learning my smoker, i took the steaks off at 122 ish and did a quick 60 second pan sear per side. OMG! The steaks were so great, only half made it into the chilli =) The chilli was unique but very delicious.

I knew Sam and had been eating his food for a while before I saw one of his videos, and he is who you see on the videos. From watching these you know what to expect when you meet him, and you will not be disappointed, Sam really is that cool and fun.
