    I was sad to hear that Corona doesn't support GPUs, but knowing there are plans to support Vantage is great

      there is plenty of gpu renderers out there ? So its not sad, its your option.

      @@mikedecem I know, but I'm so used to the process of working with corona. I really only need a fast GPU renderer when I'm in a hurry or making a movie

    your Pivot Placer is very cumbersome and difficult to use compared to Sini Software's pivot placer, you should copy the same exact functionality, maybe ask the people at Sini first, but I have both and it is a no brainer to skip yours and use Sini's.

      @ChaosCorona  7 месяцев назад

      TY for the feedback! Sini is always an option if someone is willing to pay for additional tools - but now at least users who don't want to pay extra for other tools have an option (and those with Sini can choose which approach they like best ;) ). Thanks! Tom

    I have one question, at 10:34 it can be seen that the corona bitmap on tile color has a texture of 16 tiles. HOW is it that the SEAMS of the diffuse map are not displayed in each tile directly in the corona tiles map? In fact, out of 16 tiles of the diffuse map, you have a clearly laid out texture in the tile slot WITHOUT SEAMS. Explain this magic.

    • @ChaosCorona

      If I understand the question correctly (and maybe I do not), that would be because the diffuse map is tileable/seamless, so that randomizing its mapping does not cause any seams (the same would be true without the tile map, with any other use of the MappingRandomizer, which is where that happens rather than in the Tile map). Thanks! Tom

    While Rendering IR why image resolution not the same as we seted ?

    • @ChaosCorona
      @ChaosCorona  6 месяцев назад

      In general, people want a smaller IR window compared to final render resolution, in order to keep rendering nice and fast while they make adjustments to the scene, and also so the window can be positioned in a way to leave access to the underlying 3d program so they can make those changes (move models, adjust materials in an editor, etc). If you have any specific features you'd like to see as regards IR window sizing, please feel free to post those on the forums so the dev team can be made aware - forum.corona-renderer.com/ and we have a Feature Requests board for 3ds Max, and another for Cinema 4D. Thanks! Tom

    I think Corona must go with Vantage, because times are moving towards Realtime Render. (GPU Render) like Unreal, Twin Motion, D5, Lumion, Vantage, etc. are becoming the trend. The reason is the speed.
    Corona is a very good Renderer. I don't think other Renders can keep up with the beautiful image of Corona. That's why I insist on Corona. But Corona is only a CPU Render. So it's not faster than other GPU Renders.
    If Corona goes with Vantage, it'll even set the GPU Render's speed. I'll still insist on CPU rendering for steel cuts. But I'd like to use Corona Vantage to animation render faster.
    As long as the Corona Vantage is constructed, I don't have to snoop on other Real-time Renders anymore.
    Anyway, I always love Corona! :)

      Yes, we are looking into exporting a scene from Corona to Vantage (as mentioned at the end of our blog in the "What's Next" section - blog.corona-renderer.com/chaos-corona-11-released/ ), so we'll see what is possible! It won't be live-link though, as a note.
      Thanks!
