The first one Giancarlo waits to see the flight of the ball and then starts to back up to catch but with the second one he went forward first to try and catch the ball at the highest point but miss judged it causing him to punch the ball. Great video Omar and can’t wait for more content.
Love the progressions and Maxy back. Met Abraham my last LAFC game and he was down to earth. Great people as well. Keep it up coach

Giancarlo in his first approach uses the cross over step due to the balls trajectory being a little quicker so he can meet the ball at the back stick . However in his second approach he doesn’t use it but sort of approaches it too early then realises he can’t make it so is almost tracking back that’s why he get two hands on it . Due to him flicking it away though it may just be enough to flick it past the attacker coming in at the back stick !
In the second, Giancarlo starts a little early, then decides to hit due to stalling. If the start is as good as the first one, you can take the second one as well. However, hitting is a good decision.
His 2nd approach was flat towards the ball and ended up trying to drop step for the cross which didn’t allow him to adjust to the flight of the ball

giancarlo uses his cross overs more efficiently then in the second cross,in the second he like goes up and then backwards which messes up his timing

Giancarlo is too far off his line in the second one. On another note, the keepers acting as strikers don't head the ball, when they could the hide their head, and the keeper grabs it easily, some of those balls aren't for the goalkeeper to catch, he would come out and a real striker would head it and the goal would be unprotected
