I was looking at that uncovered drain as you were talking and was wondering if you were going to climb down it (with all the the snakes) and see if the drone followed. 😜👍
Does the home point update as you move? what happens if its busy following you and signal is lost? will it go back where it took off or it will go home where the controller is currently at ?
I have an Android device and I use DJI GO for my Phantom 3 Advanced, but I can't finde any way to make the small quadcopter appear.... I mean the small quadcopter on your display, by pressing which you get access to the advanced flight functions. Do you also use DJI GO or maybe do you use a different App? What am I doing wrong? Can you help me please?
Hi Christian, all DJI app on Android have been removed (Google ), you can go onto the DJI website - Downloads and find all the DJI apps there. Many thanks for watching :)
@@shaunthedrone First in order, thanks for your reply. I found all the Apps on the DJI website but at the time I bought my Phantom 3 Advanced, DJI only suggested using DJI GO, in which I couldn't find how to access the advanced flight functions (Orbit, Follow-Me, etc.). Instead, I see in your video that you can access these functions and so I wanted to understand exactly which of these applications you used in the video (I really didn't understand which button on the radio controller you pressed to activate the little white quadcopter on the smartphone display, at min. 04:15 of the videoclip) and if it can also be used with my Phantom 3 Advanced. Can you help me please?
@@christianrogari Hi, not flown my Phantom 3 Standard for a while, when you flick down the right hand switch on the controller, the drone symbol on the left will appear on your screen and tap the drone symbol which will then make the 3 symbols appear and you tap the Follow Me info will appear. I also did tutorial on the Phantom 3 Advanced in the Follow Me mode, good luck :)
StD Thanks for the vids! My question is not related to this topic, but with the Phantom 3 is it necessary to calibrate the compass before each flight? I'm a bit shy and I like to avoid the "Hey is that a drone??!" fanfare I occasionally encounter...so basically I just want to be able to jump out of the car, get the drone up, get my shot, and be gone...instead of looking silly spinning in circles and attracting more attention to myself. Trivial yes, but these are my issues :) . Thanks!
Good question, DJI say every time you fly but that is just to cover them if you have accident with the drone. I've only calibrated my drones at the beginning once and only re-calibrate if Ive had accident with the drone or go to a different country. Once the drone takes off and just let it hover, if its not moving about, it's okay to fly. With the new drones, I've never calibrated them, hope that helps.
Good video on how to use follow me. Question: What is the mechanical switch on the controller's upper left ( left ) hand corner used for? I know the right one switch flight modes. Thanks.
Thank you, S2 switch is to link the controller & the drone or once down RTH (return to home). Heres a link to explain ruclips.net/video/hyrXmXzfcD4/видео.html

Always seemed DJI work better with OS Apple. I still fly my P3S. My P2 is a museum piece.
Top man Joe, still a great drone to fly and still flying well at the moment. Many thanks for watching :)

Good question and unlike the new DJI drones, no it won't update, it will return to where you took off so remember that - many thanks for watching :)
