Ciao, molto divertente il video complimenti, manca una cosa. Solitamente con il mio air 3 al decollo lo lascio 15 secondi a circa 8 metri per far sì che lui catturi la posizione e raramente atterra in posto diverso. Solo la notte anche se ha una luce di atterraggio, si sposta di qualche cm. Comunque il piccolo mini 2 è sempre il mio preferito. Ciao e grazie per l allegria dei tuoi video. Ps io sono in Sicilia.

I just bought a used Mini 2 on ebay and love the Litchi app, especially Missions. I still find the drone a bit jerky in the turns and this may be due to it being pretty windy. However, it's great to be able to plan a flight in advance and set the drone off to fly it, knowing I can take over at any time if I need to.

Why didn't you let them hover at 7 metres from take off to activate precision landing for more of an precise landing.

I was rooting for the Air 3. Oh, well. 🤷‍♂ My Air 3 will still outrun a M4P. 😂 I usually use RTH, but since I typically launch from a table, I usually abort the landing when it's about 10-15' above ground, then land manually.

You just need to be close, and then land it manually. Many times I just hand catch it instead. Thanks for the comparisons!

Hiya Shaun yet another excellent experiment! The mini 4 pro is definitely punching above it weight (pardon the pun) this drone from DJI has everything a drone photographer needs and more. The only downside is the wind it wouldn’t be able to take high wind speeds like a larger/ heavier drone could, this is only a winged/gripe of flying in the U.K. it’s not comfortable flying in high winds I know I can’t relax and enjoy like I should. You had fun but the test should have been done at least 10 times with each drone. Why no go for an evaluation involving facts like what technology is used? What sensing, what algorithm? Do You think Santal Clause is involved? Joking! My experience of the Mini 3 pro and the Mavic 3 pro is they missed the landing spot by several meters now and then.

Hi kevin, this was another great video. It seems that your controller is suffering from stick drift. I don't think it's your gimball going to the left. You can test this with the option to calibrate the controller. I'm very curious.

I did a similar test and used the 3 mini , air 3 mini 4 pro and Autel EVO ll v3. The Autel was consistently the closest followed by the Air 3. The mini would have been closer but I suspect the prop wash had a negative effect moving the little drone otherwise I believe it would have been best

Hi Shaun - my Hubsan Zino and Zino Mini SE are both about as good as the DJI Mini 3 and Air 3 not as good as the Mini 4 at precision landing - it's the actual circle on the landing pad that they 'home onto' which is the reason they don't lock onto your car mat - with the Hubsans you can see them lock onto the circle in the phone screen - with all of them it's the last moment when the camera flips up that the wind can catch it and throw it off course.

Good video. But why didn’t you ascend to 7m and hover a moment before flying off. Apparently it’s much better for precision landing.

You would think the air 3 would have better precision landing than the mini 4 pro.I done a test landing with the mini 4 pro a few days ago with latest firmware and i tell you it was spot on the H

What to do if wont activite?

Something people don't talk about is the freaking agility of the spark. I've owned an M4P and a spark, and the M4P feels like a floating boat, whereas the spark is super tight. Feels like a sports car in the air.

Thanks for the video. It doesn't land on the landing pad because of the GPS error calculation. I thought that was pretty darn close though. I have the Mini2 and when it gets close to the Landing Pad, I take manual control and center it over the pad and then move the descend stick down and hold it there, until it lands. Not sure if that is available on the 3Pro or 4Pro. As you said, the Mini2 is a sweet little girl because it gives you more control without DJI programing getting in the way.

My second flight on my RC2 was logged as being 5 days in the past - now I'm paranoid about checking the date and time before I fly with it
