Sounds good, but that might be the ugliest spec Corvette I’ve seen lol. Red with all red interior. Woah 😳 not to mention the aftermarket things he did to the car. Those wheels look horrible and the spoiler. He got the headers right though. Lol.
I agree… guys like this make the car look cheap and less exotic than what it is. 😂. That spoiler is silly looking like a video game car. But, to each its own.
i've been following you guy for awhile now. with out a doubt you guy are awsome at job, but jesus christ 90% of you viedos are about CAMAROS AND CORVETTES, you guys have done and made every video of a camaro or corvette mod you could possibly do. maybe you should think outside the box, just saying the videos are boring and the same old same old. kind of like a commercial, love you to death steve but boring.......
Keep in mind he is shooting videos with customer cars. The variety is going to be largely impacted by whats coming in the shop and thats mostly Camaros and Corvettes. 🤷♂
The weakness of the DCT, precarious trans flush procedure including whether GM will even honor it to preserve warranty and prospect of high failure rate of the DCT out of warranty has really killed the joy of C8 ownership. If you own a C8 under warranty it will quickly depreciate and if you own one out of warranty as depreciation tends to slow luring many buyers, you can face a $20K bill to replace the DCT and with its given track record, too high a probability. Too high a gamble. Just buy a C5-C7 which many will prefer with manual gearbox which are much more reliable and of course have much greater driver involvement which is what owning a sports car is all about.
Why is the flush procedure precarious? LMR made it sound fairly straightforward. Sounds like it needs to be completed early....1000 miles? The problem with the C7 Z06 is it doesn't hook up
@@fzr1000981 The controversy surrounding the DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission) hydraulic system flush on the Chevy C8 Corvette stems from differing opinions on whether the procedure is necessary and how it should be performed. Here are the main points of contention: Necessity: Some owners and experts argue that the flush is an essential part of maintaining the DCT system, as it helps remove debris and contaminants from the hydraulic system before replacing the filter. Others believe it's an unnecessary step that adds extra cost without significant benefits. Service Manual vs. Owner's Manual: The service manual includes the hydraulic system flush as a step in the DCT filter change procedure, but this is not explicitly mentioned in the owner's manual. This discrepancy has led to confusion among owners about whether the flush is required for warranty purposes. Dealer Practices: There are reports from Corvette owners that some dealerships either do not perform the flush or charge extra for it, leading to concerns about consistency and transparency in the service provided. DIY Maintenance: Some owners prefer to perform maintenance themselves to avoid potential issues with dealer practices. However, the hydraulic system flush requires specific tools and knowledge, making it challenging for DIY enthusiasts. Overall, the controversy highlights the need for clear communication and consistency in maintenance procedures for the Chevy C8 Corvette's DCT system. PS. Lastly, some even believer flushing any automatic transmission including the DCT is a recipe for 'potential' debris blockage within the valve body leading to conjecture if its better or worse to perform the flush before or after the filter change. Some believe flushes are an unnecessary gamble and should never be performed for that reason even though a drain and refill doesn't purge the complete oil sump of a transmission. Frequent, drain and refill with intermittent filter change are better for the integrity of the trans and preclude precipitous failure. In summary, all this hand wringing and controversy should never exist including which procedure qualifies as honorable by the warranty. A cluster f_ck of uncertainty and 'reason for Chevy to not honor a given warranty in the event of a failure'.
Why would you want this car to sound like American muscle when the car is anything but that. Call me crazy but I don't want a mid engine sports car sounding like a Chevy Silverado with an exhaust.
nice vett.. love the sound and the wheels.
*Late Model Racecraft* Bravo well done, thank-you sir for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
Sounds great.
Good God Almighty that is a lot of red interior!!
I love RED and dang I think that dipped interior could become overwhelming after a short while.
That is what I want! 2000 hp
Will someone be making a different gear set?
Question - if you cam it and the redline ends up higher than stock, can that be reflected in the digital cluster or is that not moddable yet?
Someone needs to figure out and swap a 10 speed in 1 of these
That's a ripper for a stock C8, big time improvement.

At this point he mind as well make the steering wheel red too 😂 and wear a red shirt.
@@finwaydiddy1977 Ha ha right! 😂
I don’t get a stainless exhaust on a zero chrome car. They have such nice black tipped Cooks exhausts.
Don't forget the stupid front bumper hook that some c8 owners add.
IMO, the rear spoiler is hideous. 🤣

@@Gearbhall i get that but none the less, it's still the same mods on
