@@Sever3dHead it isn’t moronic. This shouldn’t have happened. Normally it’s totally fine to bench without a spotter. As long as you use clips so you can slide the weights off. The bar was rusty which is why he wasn’t able to. He could have definitely checked what would happen when he tried to slide the weights off with such a rusty bar. Him not doing so is the only moronic part about this. Not benching without a spotter
Didn't look like he had collars on. I think the bar and plates were too rusty to slide. Sometimes you just get caught. Glad he was stout enough to get out from under it - could have been worse!
I have questions if you ever notice this comment, what is the type of mouthguard/mouthpiece you're using? And the lever weightlifting belt you use for deadlift and squatting? Also what is your diet like?
you just need to spend a bit more cash on a proper bench with safety arms i know it’s a lot but we’ll worth it people having a dig cause you got caught out take no notice
are you actually braindead? by this logic every single lift failed due to weight is ego lifting as if you've never failed a lift in your life, ego lifting is directly related to FORM, if it's too much to where your form breaks down, that's ego lifting, maintaining form and testing your max is called lifting, THINK.
@@BuffPomsky you only go for a new pr when your able to comfortably hit 10-12 rep range for multpile sets not just 1 set. I would say if your able to do 6 to 8 sets with x amount weight for 9-12 rep range than you can go up 20 pounds. 10-15 minute breaks each set
That much weight without a spot is moronic.
Yes it is...
Nah he didn’t use any clips so he should have been able to slide the weights off. The bar was just not letting go of the plates for some reason
@@jesseheeringthat is why it is moronic, because this can happen

@@jesseheering this should have happened because the bar was rusty, and given the chance that it could, why risk it?
Perfect video, looks like you're going to hit this easy but then the fart noises pick up in the background. What a legend you are lol
That was a good fail, except you could have done a longer negative on your final way down.
im dead
Hope you're not too banged up after the bar roll! Thanks for all your help on the gfaqs board way back in the day! Appreciate you bro! 🙏💛
The bar roll of shame. Glad you survived :)
Keep it up sir.
You have my support 💪.
Yeahh too rusty to slip.
I think his pants was the real failure
😂🤡
He sharted in em
Way to go genius.
🔔 end
surprised this didnt have way more views lol, good fail
He wasn't ready
Real rocket scientist
That’s why you don’t use collars while lifting alone

It’s also a bad idea to max out alone for lifts like this.
If you ain’t popping your collar before a max lift, what are you doing with your life?
Started out being a bench press but ended up being a curl...
Good save💪🏽
Locking collars!
Invest in a power rack with safety straps. Don't need to lift super heavy anyway, Not worth the risk
Real fail work😂🤔🤣
Good try! Impressive none the less!👍
Never by yourself !
He had to too if he pushed backwards more
congrats on the new pr!
Al Sharpton was notified
slightly unrelated but never bench heavy alone with a super wide grip. the wider your grip is, the more impossible it is to save yourself on a fail.
Should put collars on too!! Smart!!!
The main thing is that I didn’t forget my hat, otherwise the barbell would have crushed me.
Jesus i swore you had that.
Im convinced if you yelled you would have gotten that last extra inch needed.
Incredibly stupid idea without a spotter. A guy just died doing this last year.
Least don't clip or cap the weights
Lmao only one safety up
song name?
bien mal de tu parte haciendo pres de banca con mucho peso y sin nadie para poder ayudarte cuando se te cayo la barra
Что-то по нему не похоже, что он такой вес большой поднимет. Гриф не гнется даже.
silly man 😂
WHAT ARE YOU DOING ????
Watch Quin Stott humble this guy
lol "humble" by lifting something with shit form
Dude…. You alright?
Very dangerous. Why it is not good to lock your barbell after loading weights.
it wasn't tho? it's kinda obvious that there's no clips on,

jajajajajajaja la melodia pedora
Bet you wont put those safety arms that low from now on
Rack it on the emergency bumpers 🤦♂️ this guy isn't smart
Too much Weight....

buy a decent bench
You had it!!! Just gave up mentality at 98 percent
You need a better rack with safety arms bro
Dammnn
Pa haberse matao
This is what we call an ego lift.
How else do you find out your PR without going for it lol
No it's not douche bag. He's alone. It's called try working harder until you get it. Don't be jealous
