Thank you. All of this presentation is wonderful. I live on the West coast so it’s not likely that I will be able to visit this site. Please if you can tell us more in these videos. A close up of the info plaque would be nice too. Best regards

I go with my Son & his family boating in the summer...we always pull over to have lunch directly across from the fort...we find shark teeth but no arrowheads wonder why...I always check out the fort with binoculars 😊

Happy to see a new video - please continue to release them as frequently as you can. The methodologies and technologies that you are employing make the archaeology that I did in the 1970's look positively "prehistoric". I hope on coming down and visiting you before the end of the year. Keep up the brilliant work!!!

Notice how that guy comes up at the end of a sentence? It's as though he's asking a question. It suggests lack of confidence. Talk normally. At least he's not saying "like", "like", "like" every other word as filler.

It’s very exciting for you to be able to dig under that rubble and possibly find another un-disturbed layer! Make sure you do a video about what you find. Great job! Mary

In Canada we the Indigenous People don't want to be called 'native', you all are still calling them 'virginia indians', two labels that have nothing to do with those people.

Hang on in a couple years "indigenous People" will not be politically correct.

      1) This isn't Canada. 2) 'Virginia Indians' is what the colonists called them, so is correct for the period being studied. 3) 'Native' is a descriptor. You can be a native Spaniard, for example. If we allow every word to become taboo through misuse by a minority, the words will be constantly shifting. That said, whatever the 'Indigenous People' that live in that area now prefer is what they should be using - and for all either of us knows, that's the case.

Oh please, did someone forget to use your proper pronoun when talking to you again? There was nothing derogatory in what they called them. The fact that you got butthurt because they didn't use the "currently" accepted WOKE wording, shows that your priorities center around word differences and how they hurt your feelings! Personally, I'm more interested in the archaeology than I am about your feelings!

@@skepticalbadger well then good thing there were no people of colour in Jamestown or they'd be dropping N bombs as it would have been time appropriate.

I have spoken with "Real Indians" from NY state (traveling workers), I don't recall which tribe, about how they feel with the use of the title "Indians" and they had no problem with it. They said that's what they call themselves.
