The audio quality for Terry's All Stars is the best I've ever heard on a bcast video...even better than for Doc's NBC Band. Fabulous band, fabulous sound, and Frank Capp COOKS! Terry is an propulsive conductor in addition to his vibe virtuosity.
These sophisticated soirées are truly special - Steve Allen knew a thing or two about class and how to present it.
There will be only one Lou Rawls, this guy had class
This is so good, if only we had these in the UK, thanks for posting.
I had the pleasure of being in a big band that backed up Rosie at a Dinner Theatre gig in about 1987. And all I can say is Wow! Great lady, great arrangements by John Oddo. What a week that was - two shows each day, and we were all so sorry when the gig was over.
Bill Maher, to this day, has the personality of a rock. Stone cold.
Rosie, hey very jazzy.
Super high marks, for the cast big band & the most excellent Rosemary Clooney! / The sound eng. is excelent for that time circa; mixed for Live TV.
Rosie Clooney - one of the most talented vocalists of all time!
It absolutely DOES NOT GET any better than this video when it comes to the great American Songbook!! Two of the best singers in the entire world on one stage!!!! And of course Steve Allen is one of the very best all-around entertainers ever put on this earth! Thanks for posting this incredible gem!!
My gosh, a time when jazz was the popular music of the day. Wonderful.
What a treasure of the contemporary musical and artistic culture.
Always a pleasure to hear Rosemary, especially when I'm from Cincinnati.
Rosie..definition of class! And gotta love the band...sweet memories indeed!! Bravo.
GOD. BLESS HER. BEAUTIFUL KIND LADY❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️11/23/2022. JO-ANN. LAMONICA. AMERICA. 🥂👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
So. Much. Talent. On. That. Stage! We're so lucky for having this but so much less for the loss of all of them or at least most of them now.
Great song from lou! Remember i heard it in the 70s easy to dance to. Play on lou!
Wow....a very young Bill Maher, I had no idea he did this kind of thing early on. But the true talent of course is all these incredible musicals. Now this was a show!
Rosie you're beautiful, thank you!!!
Rosie swings so damn hard!
