I'm honestly not that into musicals except, like your friend, Rocky Horror and also Sweeney Todd. But I think it just fits his character, like it makes sense to explore the Joker through a musical lens, the Joker is a very theatrical and grand character. I'm excited, I'm glad they are willing to take a risk and do something different.

Im not a musical lover if you will, though some of my favorite films are classified musicals. But I'm looking forward to this, The Joker is the greatest villain of All Time.
This genre does fit him, Joker is a performer even in chaos. The world is a stage to him. And how can anyone not love Harley Quinn. Amazing character.

I agree and I believe that is why so many people are willing to give this a chance, even though it's a musical. It fits Joker's character and he and Harley both are awesome villains. There is someone for everyone.
