Arthas and the story of the Lich king, especially Warcraft 3 on its own, deserves a proper movie trilogy or Netflix series and one that’s done right pleases both fans and those unfamiliar with the franchise. That’s the key and my lifelong dream to see to fruition.

Arthas legacy never dies, for his name lives on in the hearts of all those who have come to know his story. Here’s to hoping if we draw in a new younger crowd in combination with the old veteran fans, we can see a movie trilogy, Netflix series, or more stories with Arthas if they see he has support.

Invincible song is perfect for alternate end to Arthas as King Arthas Menethil II King of Lordaeron and all human nation. Leading a Alliance in many conflict to victory. Pride and hope for his people. I will always remember Arthas in this way.

relive that era when wow was in the right place at the right time for many of us! even if we've long parted ways this was a good chapter in wow. Great video and music both together like this only add to what I'd hope we could fully experience in wows game without needing to read books or watch things outside of game

The story, the tragedy of Arthas… there was never a better masterpiece written into Warcraft Lore (not the shadowlands garbage). Forever the most perfectly developed character! Hail the king.
Arthas stands as the King of Kings when it comes to the feelings of raw emotion (tragedy most of all) evoked by WoW lore. Your combination of artwork together with the different steps of the music score was perfect Athelarius - thank you.

Listening to this makes me realise what i gave up when i stopped playing World of Warcraft so long ago. Yes, it is but a game, but it is also one of the best written universes of all time.

Imagine... IF ONLY... They would make a WoW series with the full lore... like 10 seasons or so... with content from Warcraft III and WoW Vanilla, TBC and WOTLK.. and the main protagonist and antagonist, as an actor would be Henry Cavil (Geralt - Witcher actor) as Arthas Menethil... and the producers would actually RESPECT the LORE of the GAME, i bet my life that it would be better than any of Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings and other epic movies, storywise... I can only dream... IF ONLY this could be a reality...
Maybe... some day microsoft could make that dream real :)

They would end up fucking it up with a basic ass political agenda of the modern Era.
Comparing a story of a lost-soul crowned teenager who was used as a weapon in evel's hands with Game of Thrones (originally Song of ice and fire) or Lotr which were based on much more deeper fantasy archetypes is some kind of mistake. Arthas' story simply has no such potential to be told for 10 seasons in a row, it's boring and quite predictable
That first milisecond of Totems of Grizzlemaw (The Grizley-Hills Nyckelharpa music, english word for that being "Keyed Fiddle", which is a pretty literal description of the instrument) right at the end made me absolutely give in to my tears...
That instrument really means a lot to me, since my dad plays it. (He's doing well, no need to worry about me spreading my "Sad and tragic story of my dad that passed") The instrument coming from Sweden just fits the Theme of the Area it plays in so well, aside from the pure nostalgic joy it brings me, to hear those songs from years back.

Poor guy. For people who fast forward to Arthas betraying the mercenaries, that’s his fault, he chose that action, before that action though he was forced to do some heavy stuff that gave him mad ptsd to end Mal Ganis. Arthas was then controlled through the blade to do what he did to his father and mentor and home. The man only wanted to save Lordaeron. I just wish they wrote it to where people knew he was controlled to kill and destroy when he came back, like they never knew the truth, all the way to shadowlands.
Arthas storyline in Warcraft III / WoW is probably the best of the fantasy stories ever made, so sure that even Tolkien would've liked to met this story

I know the whole story of Arthas Menethil and for me he is one of the best characters in the world of Warcraft. I even have a picture of him at home. It's just a shame that this exceptional hero who caught the attention of many. I personally was drawn to Arthas to finish Warcraft III and the expansion of the story, also to read the Book and to play World of Warcraft. I want to say that his ending disappointed me a lot, it was sloppy and unworthy of such an iconic character.😢
His lore is on point with Tolkien.

if you add those moments in those pictures to a movie/tv show with the lord of the ring style or something,its badass and you can be identified with the charcters,they could done the same with the orcs and the story such as doomhammer escape his chains and from capital city and all the alliance trying to capture him and then he give thrall his suit,the orc capture the red dragons ,events can be good for episods and plots in the war
but it was zovaal the jailer who was responsible for corrupting manipulating and turn arthas evil through frostmourne helm of domination and domination magic all along.

Amazing video! I will never forgive Blizzard for what they did to Arthas in Shadowlands. It pains my heart whenever i think about it, how they took this iconic character, arguably their best written one and most famous, and just spit on his entire legacy.

So they butchered him in shadowlands and said in the cinematic nope that was all of him gone now, don't ever ask or theorize about anything he is done now pay attention to our shitty peace story now.
