the trailer doesn't make sense when it mention ( arthas release nerzul from blade when he put it in ice ) since in legion frost artifact we saw nerzul and arthas and fight him there

Given the way Shadowlands played out, I'm glad they didn't really go down that road with Arthas and risk doing more damage.

Arthas were the main reason why I'm interested in this game
Arthas is the equivalent of Anakin Skywalker. Arthas had so much promise and potential but his eagerness for battle and vengence turned out to be his undoing. Such an incredible character
Arthas, true king, rest in peace, we will never forget you
No matter what transpires in the modern story today. No matter that error in judgement, retcons to validate new Big Bads. No matter changes to the story to expand the world. The story of Arthas will always be the best, and most tragic, story in warcraft (Followed closely by the harrowing life of Jaina).
World of Warcraft has only one king and it's Arthas Menethil .. Long Live the Lich King
Every expansion should get an intro video like this in game to help immerse the player into the lore of the world and catch them up on what’s happening.
I'm very glad they didn't shoe-horn the Jailer into this. Stuck to the original lore and how it actually happened.

Big facts. Ner'zhul used to be one of the franchises most important characters/villains, but from WotLK onward they straight up ignored or ruined him wherever they could.

@@brandoncastellano1858 - Kael'thas was right there fighting alongside Illidan, even fought Arthas one on one (also they should've mentioned Illidan was there trying to destroy the Lich King).

Arthas, the true King
The culling of Strathlome is Arthas way of mercy. He don't want those undead to suffer anymore.

This was incredibly done, tons of info but was still pretty succinct. Enjoyed the narration immensely.
Someone want to tell me why everyone feels sorry for Arthas? He turned against his teacher (Uther) and the light, he refused to listen to one of his most trusted advisors (Muradin), murders his father in cold blood, turns Sylvannas against her will.
Arthas ruined so many people's lives, especially fellow humans, from Jaina to Calia to Anduin, especially ol' Emma...
Same reason people felt sorry for Vader before he died...its literally the same story, good guy turns evil and becomes what he fought to save what he was trying to protect ends up destroying it. Then is in so deep can't find redemption so people feel sorry for him.

The only sad part of this lore was how shadowlands deconstructed so much of it, making it useless.
Hearing the fear in Jaina's voice, chilling.
They did Arthas dirty during shadowlands, best to keep the great memories from before that point.
So much lore Blizzard and Netfllx should do an animated series about Warcraft
