The tide is coming up to the wall there! After the weekend with storm Darragh which beach will you combe>? Hope there is not going to be widespread damage over the days, wait and see......The song called Catch The Wind by Donovan(Scottish singer) - Craig might know it! Keep safe, nice jewellery Nicole!
Oh yes the tides do come over the walls during high tide - when we walk along the promenade we sometimes get a bit of seaspray - always a bit of a chuckle moment ! Hope you are ok in the red zone during the Storm Dean? We are expecting winds now, after the rain. Def planning a beachcomb right after the storm :)

Fast and furious beach time today! One eye on the tide, one eye looking for treasures! Looked like a beautiful day but time to go after a wave caught you. Loved the sound of the surf. Have a great week- stay safe and well ❤
I don’t understand the finer points of tide times. When you say high tide … how long does it last? I honestly figured the tide would be receding as you walked back. Anyway … glad you are both safe. LOVE the glass crafts! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
At most beaches here there is no beach during high tide - during low tide the beaches can be 50m plus wide .... High tide lasts for 6 hours , then low tide for 6 hours and so on. The height of the tides differs each day and the difference can be up to 6 metres between low and high tide :)
Fun step walk while tide was coming in 😂 you two are daring. On the way back I couldn’t believe you just made it Craig. I then thought no way Nicole will make it. We love that stretch of beach and have made lots of videos there ( it's in Leven ) - the water goes out and the beach is about 50m wide during low tide :)

Yes very true, the waves are so strong - you can't just stand in them during high tide ! The Sea is so powerful, it's amazing to listen to!
