May I suggest substituting a lot of these shots with the same ones but sunny? For a moment I was thinking Burgundy looks depressing until I realized it was the weather factor. And I might’ve passed over it for an issue that affects just about everywhere in Europe lol.
I actually stayed in both during my trip! If you have to pick one, then I would probably say Dijon as it has better transport links so it would probably be easier to take day trips by train to the surrounding region. Both are beautiful and have a large selection of restaurants/ hotels though!
