I visited Chateau Chambord with my family when I was a kid. It was insanely beautiful, like something from a Disney movie. We camped in the Loire Valley. Absolutely beautiful part of the world. I'll never forget the seemingly endless fields of sunflowers. I'd love to go back one day.
Now I’ve seen it all! Eric dressing like a Prince wearing VANS, beatboxing and dancing. PRICELESS!! Hey hanging out at gorgeous Chateaus and amazing themed gardens will do that to ya!! Great vid y’all!!
@@Theendlessadventure It shows! Could feel how much fun you had! Wow guys, y'all are really honing your craft, yet you're both so enjoyable to watch and y'all have this innate ability to make us feel included! This one will be hard to top! Thank you for going the extra mile😊🖐💞
The French keep and protect their ancient and modern heritage and culture in tact unlike any other country. From monuments, food, artisans to modern Peugeots and Renault car industry. We lived there 6 years . YES a SPONSORED video but you guys have earned this and executed a great vlog episode. Hope you go back to your roots and so similar with the Irish tourist board !
The main staircase in Chateau de Chambord is really cool. It's a double helix. So it's actually 2 staircases wound around each other. It's therefore possible for one person going up and another going down not to meet each other.
We got to be there for a few days. Loved it all. So beautiful. France captures my heart. We saw Chambord, Chenonceau, Villandry and Amboise. Having a car and lots of time made it perfect.
What a grand tour! I'd be happy just hanging out on the goat farm, but staying at any of the chateaux would be a dream within a dream. Thanks for taking us along.
This is my first experience watching your channel. I'm a French teacher in MKE, WI. I love this video because you give us different views, particularly, interior shots that other brief châteaux videos do not do. How much fun to be able to dress up in those period costumes! Bravo et merci!
Come and watch winexploration to travel to France ! Clisson is a nice city in the west of France. I will be happy if you become a new subscriber ! Happy new year !
You guys always make us laugh, you're NEVER just talking heads like some other travel couples. Wardrobes, absolutely hilarious 😁👍🥰 That last chateau was Stunning! Oh my gosh, all that food! Airplane too?! Packed episode! No wonder your channel is about to cross 300,000K :) Best, James and Kim
That shot of the Château de Villandry gardens was AMAZING. The insides of the chateaus looks way different to the castles and palaces I've seen. I'd love to shoot a video there too!
Probably because it was often kept as it was during the Renaissance (with less furniture probably though). It keeps that kind of authentic style. Most palaces you can visit in Europe are actually usually more recent, from the 17th/18th/19th centuries, or older but then changed over time, especially the interiors which are often surprisingly recents. But I assume there are other places than the Loire valley like that.
The Loire Valley is one of my favorite places in the world - I loved getting to experience it again and even go to some new places there through you two! 😍
Come and watch winexploration to travel to France ! Clisson is a nice city in the west of France. I will be happy if you become a new subscriber ! Happy new year !
The Loire Châteaux are phenomenal. I visited them all: Chambord, Blois, Amboise, Saumur, Villandry , Chenonceau, Azay-le-rideau, Chaumont sur Loire etc.... back in the '90s. Fond memories! FYI you rocked that Renaissance look Allison!
I've been watching you guys for years...this vid is one of your best (not that I'd say any others are weak)! As travelers, my family (me, my wife, and 3 girls) could so see hanging out and exploring with you two. Thanks for sharing-great stuff! Safe travels!
French plural for chateau is chateaux:) Amazing stuff. And the food is unbelievable, these guys are pro's in cuisine. In those costumes you look like time travelers.
Amazing video, Eric and Allison. Really enjoyed it. Visited the Loire Valley years ago and this has so made me want to go back. It's a beautiful region of France to go to. You looked great by the way, in your costumes. 😊
Allison, you looked absolutely amazing in the gown. It fit you as though it was made just for you. France has never been on my dream travel list until watching your video. The chateaus were stunning and the one with the incredible gardens was breathtaking. Thank you for yet another great video.
Thank you for the cute vlog! Reminds me of my 2 months working in Saumur, one of the sweet towns in the Loire Valley. Miss it so much! This vlog takes me back in time :)
Spectacular video, guys. Obviously you enjoyed your vacay in the Loire region of France. Like you, I quite like the renaissance period clothing, which you nailed. I lived with my parents+ in the Alsace-Lorraine region 60 years ago as a wee lad of 3-5, and I remember visiting the Loire region. It was so good to visit that area again through your eyes. Slàinte
You two are my favourite RUclipsrs, and the first ones I ever subscribed to years ago! I LOVE your videos! And Eric‘s dancing is fantastic! Thank you for all your great videos, hope you keep on traveling, eating and drinking forever!😄
I love all of your videos, but holy crap this one was incredible. It was gorgeous, playful and informative. I added this to a RUclips folder I created called "Places I'd like to go."
If you visit the Loire valley, you should accommodate in « Domaine de la Tortinière » ! It’s a chateau-hotel near the city of Tours, so close from the Loire valley châteaux and you will have a wonderful experience : you can sleep in the chateau itself or in a little cottage beside, the staff is so charming and the view from the terrace is unbelievable ! You should also try a « montgolfière » tour around the châteaux and see them from above. It’s a great experience, so frenchy ! I love this region, so many things to do ! The little châteaux like the chateau of Meung sur Loire, or Rigny ussé, are also incredible, and less touristic but a lot of activities are proposed there. Enjoy your stay in Loire valley 😁
Come and watch winexploration to travel to France ! Clisson is a a city along the Sevre Nantes area. I will be happy if you become a new subscriber ! Happy new year ! You can watch beautiful pictures of Clisson in my video ! ▼
Next time you visit France, come a bit further West. Try Nantes for Anne of Brittany's Château, La Cigale art Nouveau Café. Then over to the Vendee region Les Sables d'Olonne where the Vendee Globe départs from and the Jewel of the Vendee Ile d'Yeu. I am biased though as it's the region I've lived in for 12 years. It's also wonderful for wine, a local liqueur called Kamok and good hearty cuisine plus wonderful seafood.
I neeeeed to do this! I love castles and history and to go and play around in a French chateau I tho m I’d actually cry with happiness! It would be absolutely amazing. I’d definitely have eaten a load of grapes, and probably not just one 👀😂🍇 hahah & the wineries! I’d love to see one and explore one, I think it would just be epic in all honesty! I love this video! & hope your travels continue to enlighten everyone and not just me!
Leonardo da Vinci's tomb is in Château d'Amboise. About 12-15 minutes walk away is the Château du Clos Lucé, where he spent his final years and displayed there are numerous life-sized recreations of the contraptions that he thought up/invented.
Hey ! 🙂 Nice videos, and nice couple 🙂 3:40 : the owner of Amboise was Louis d'Amboise. The conspiracy was not against the king, but against his protégé, Georges de la Trémoille 🙂
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
That is so funny. We are staying at the Les Hauts de Loire in May for our trip. So funny that you ate at the Bistro. They also have a two Michelin Star restaurant as well!
Superb! I really enjoy the longer videos you occasionally do, but the work to put them together must me very time consuming. I visited the Loire about 1980! It is a fantastic region! Looking forward to the next video as always!
We enjoyed your videos and keep watching your new videos. We also travelling and discover a lot in France🇫🇷 while travelling in France. You will love our Travelling journey, Travelling Vlogs and Travelling recommendations.
The Loire is a superb place to holiday in next time try the Château du Clos Lucé (not far from Amboise) it was the home of Da Vinci, with grounds displaying working models of his designs. well worth a visit, cheers!

Eric's facial hair really goes with the costume.

Eric's level when lookig out of chateau in original clothes: BOSS
Currently watching in May 2022.. Your videos are amazing guys .. Thank you for taking us to this marvelous trip on these beautiful chateaux ..
The Loire Valley is one of my favorite places in the world - I loved getting to experience it again and even go to some new places there through you two! 😍
It's amazing they managed to build things like this over 500 years ago
And the cathedrals 800 or more years ago. And except for poor Notre Dame in Paris, still in good shape.
500 years old is new build for Europe
I have been watching your video's for over a year and for me this was the best one you lucky people
I agree Michael! This was on a whole different level, and that is saying something because they've produced some great ones for us👍😊
Alison looks really good in the queenly costume.
Wow 😍 Chateau’s, Gardens, french food, and endless wine! When can we move in?!
Too late, migrants from Africa and Asia Minor moved in there already...
Come and watch winexploration to travel to France ! Clisson is a nice city in the west of France. I will be happy if you become a new subscriber ! Happy new year !
In Amboise, they did not say it, but the tomb of Leonardo da Vinci is in a chapel located in the gardens of the castle.
Wow, what a fun packed time you had in the Loire Valley, loved it.
La Vallée de la Loire - c'est très jolie! I visited there about 10-15 years ago; so pretty, lovely wine and food, too!

Love the outfits. You guys look awesome. How fun. What a wonderful trip. Beautiful country and full of history.
We bought a place with goats. Later, someone gave us a book entitled 'goatkeeping and profit'. It was an hilarious read :)
This video maybe your best one yet. Stunning scenery and amazing looking food. Makes me wish I was there too.
Amazing video, Eric and Allison. Really enjoyed it. Visited the Loire Valley years ago and this has so made me want to go back. It's a beautiful region of France to go to. You looked great by the way, in your costumes. 😊

You should find some jewelry store during your travels that you can promote, maybe they give you new wedding rings at the end.
I love you guys and your videos, I wish I could do more to support you than just upvotes.
