In this video I’ll show you my 5 Top gopro accessories and mounts for paraglider, speedwing or miniwing!
I believe best gopro accessories are the ones that are in perfect balance between safety and craziness while paragliding or speedflying- so here is my list below!!

GoPro Mounting ideas as seen in video:
First one is all about replacing helmet mount with something much safer to avoid possible complications and unnecessary paragliding accidents! For this one will will use bite mount! Its very special gopro mount that allows you to hold it in your mouth and get super cool POV view!
When paragliding and speedflying we also like to capture our wings and the best to do so is to use gopro strap / knee mount and attach it your knee or even better on your shoes! This will give you nice angle capturing you as main part of frame and all the landscape and action around! If you use gopro max and turn on super view lens you will get insane view! Also pro tip: Gopro 8 with super slow motion and horizon leveling will give some incredible results as well!
If you want flying buddy that will always follow you…well then you must grab paragliding chase cam! Or paragliding follow cam… its pretty much the same thing! Its nice little “flying thing” on which you attach your gopro and when you fly - you “drag” it behind which makes very beautiful and unique angle of view!
Now if I would have to pick one the most unique and special mount from all the best gopro accessories…. I would probably go with gopro magnet mount! Why is this one so special? Well imagine attaching your gopro straight on your paraglider, miniwing or speedwing getting that wild perspective straight down to you! Its soo cool! And if you can, use gopro max or gopro hero 8 with that super smooth stabilisation to get the best results out of it! Example of this one was captured on gopro black!

Very clever improvisation of the 1st mount with a neck strap. Actually, now that I’ve completed watching the whole video I’ve got to say well done for improvising the mount for different angles without suggesting that we buy several different mounts.

Now that I'm just over 40, with a wife and 3 kids, it's unlikely to happen as my wife doesn't want anything happening to me + I don't have the budget for the gear. Isnt there the mouth mount made by gopro looks like snorkle so you can breath normally

I plan to buy a Gopro Max and am wondering which mounts would be best to optimize 360° and considering that Max can make the stick invisible ? (Probably not the mouth unless you want a huge close up on your face ... 🤣)
Thanks buddy!! :)) I really enjoy doing all these things :) Thats awesome MAX is beast! An it will make any stick invisible as long as it is not wider than camera body. So basically any extendable pole or you can improvise with hiking poles or something like that :) How ever I mostly use gopro pole, and el grande also from gopro :) And it should be at least 30 - 40cm away from you to get optimum results...again depends what you want :)

Also nice solution is to go again with the base of the helmet mount and attach it with some strap to the shoulder straps of backpack or harness. If it still wobble fixing with some velcro on the backside is a good solution. Gives a good n stable view in flight direction without all moves of the head.

On the side of your helmet! If you have a narrow cam like the sony action cam. Gives good angle, and less trouble with the lines too

Variation of the bite mount: Full face helmet and mount the camera to the chin bar. If I remember correctly Kyle O'Glee and Peter Holdy use this.

Hey Aljaz! Which glider and size are you flying in this video? I’m wondering if the chase cam could fall into the paraglider lines if i make high wingovers or fly too aggressive
Hey buddy! Its Goose mk3 23,5m :)) Sure you can always make chasecam drop into the lines if you're not careful haha :) However from my experiences doing wingovers, spirals is no problem... for more complex manoeuvres it can always be tricky. Whatever you're gonna do with it I suggest you to progress slowly and see how it reacts to your flying style, wing and all that. Thats gonna be the best indicator.

Hey! Thanks 🙏 Use these sticky mounts that are ripped off in case you apply force.. you can also try to put some tape around camera and mounts so it’s not having anything popping out where lines can get tangled:))
@1:21 What settings do you use on your GoPro? 4k? 2.7k? And how many FPS?
Do you use Protune? And if so, do you set everything in a way that you can edit it in post-production (like flat color profile, low sharpness, native white balance, etc.) or do you just use Protune defaults (Protune color, mid/high sharpness, auto white balance)?
Hey hey! I believe that was hero mode on Max so at 1440p 🤙 Yes Protune ON! Settings really depends on what i am planning to capture and do with the footage later on... like you said..If I wanna have color grading flexibility then raw ofcourse... You can find my preferable settings in one of my previous videos about gopro max vs gopro and settings 🙏
Also you can add different taste to it! Mint, Gulash, Kiwi, Pineapple, Chili, Tabaco or Plastic taste also( actually that given) :D , A rubber layer could give extra grip to it or combine it with the same plastic insert what Kickboxers use.
Of course endless possibilities :D :D

probably Shoe Mount for easyness. I use a 3d printed one for which I don't have to rethread my laces.

only problem with shoe mount is if you want to fly with nice form, legs tucked under your seat for manuevers it defeats the purpose. Any tips on mounting a go pro stick to the harness... or would chase mount work for certain things if you are doing ground helis, heli landings etc?

Hey hey 👋 If your camera is mounted on the helmet you have to accept little extra risk.. there is always a possibility that your lines tangle around it.. if you don’t want that risk then bite into that bite mount 😄🔥🚀
