Can you please do a tutorial for alpine/forward launch? For people that are used to flying in a lot of wind, reverse launch is the daily bread BUT alpine/forward launch is scary, specially when you're alone and you don't have anyone to tell you if the wing is coming nice and even on top of you. Keep up the good work, man!
Hi Aljaz, as the pioneer of the Mitsos Reverse Launch, I want to firstly congratulate you on a well produced video and explanation of this technique. Only recommendation I can make is, always grab the rear risers (after brakes in hands) first and take left hand to hip before grabbing A's. When it's windy it's putting the safety on the trigger. I also use the C's to control the wing on ascent, by moving the left hand towards to low wing. Also use the C's to stop the wing overshooting in stronger winds. I also suggest stepping back into the wind prior to turning as this will help the wing move forward when it's windy. Too many pilots turn around as soon as the wing is overhead and when you're moving back towards the wing, it means you'll be behind the wing, rather than in front of it... cheers mitsi
You are an AWESOME instructor! Love your videos!! Thank you! I always do reverse inflations, but everytime I ended up with brake line in a single twist. That little detail in this video about which side to hold the toggles was priceless for me! You're my new superhero!
Dude, more tutorials please!!! I'm in the process of saving for my training and love stuff like this. I have an old, cheap GH wing which I'm using to do some practice. so much fun, can't wait to fly! Maybe just general GH techniques, controlling the wing, wing packing techniques etc. :D love your videos.
I’ve watched many many videos on all the different aspects of paragliding and while some of even most were just as instructive on the subject as this one was, this was the first one I can say I actually enjoyed watching. Great video, great instructional style, you are a natural teacher. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge Bam! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😁
Always use the reverse launch. A tip I use, think 'right to flight' and 'left to land' when considering which way to turn at launch and landing. Provided of course your right risers are over your left.
Great tutorial! Thank you! How are the reaction with the C-risers to control and direct the wing? = which side to move for which reaction? Keep up your great work!!!!
Thanks Mike!! Happy that you like it! It really depends on which side you are turnes but if you pull right C riser it will go to right side and if you pull ledt it will go to left. So works same conceot as with brakes :)
@@AddictionHappiness where is the helmet .... helmet where are you, are you in your backpack ... why you don't like my head. This asks your helmet Aljaz
@@skydiveinfo I agree that helmet is very important in these sports. But As you can see from the video - terrain I am on, is soft grass without rocks - in front of me there is parachute landing place with small "soft" round mini rocks. You can't really smash into something here and on top of that conditions are super light. So question right there - are we wearing helmets while we walk on sidewalks next to roads (full of rock solid materials) and stuff like that? :) However - like I mentioned I always wear helmet where risk factor is real and out of my possible control. So soft grass without dangerous obstacles and light conditions... not needed. Hope it makes sense? :)
@@AddictionHappinessYes you are 100% right, but it is for your skills, ground (grass) weather a few winds. The problem is in people who will imitate you and will not take it into account. You have great materials and I like you very much.
@@skydiveinfo That might be the case true...but I think everyone should have that much knowledge to keep that in mind. But like you said you never know so I'll try to make it somehow explained or included :) Thanks for support and feedback Tomasz! :)
Personally, I think it's easier to connect to the glider while facing it... just turn the risers 180° in the direction you turn... If you do it like you showed you'll often catch a line on your helmet... Does not look very professional and is also annoying... ;-D EDIT: Damn, I wasn't patient enough! ^^
Your accent is soooo funny ! Thanks for a great video !!! As for the music, on reflection I think it adds to the humour so I suggest leaving it in. Without it the video would lose some of its originality.
Yeah you can say it like that! :) And actually all you have to do is follow all steps just don't turn around and just keep going backwards and off you go :D So whatever you feel more comfy with :))
for 90% you do well but: 1 better a sloping lawn 2 in rotation the sail must be braked (as needed) 3 in rotation the bust must be straight and you must not bend your ass
@@AddictionHappiness Hahahaha...I dont speak english very well, try to explain....You talk very effusive and show man like entertaining and showing you very active and dinamic....hahahaha...just a TV seller....on the other hand nice vid man

You mean reverse INFLATION with forward TAKEOFF. a reverse TAKEOFF is when you actually leave the ground while kiting and facing reverse.
