Parts are expensive but there is nothing like shiny new stuff for a great truck.

That's for sure. I had both front calipers seize up 20 miles from home on my way camping after the truck sat mostly unused for a year. After letting it cool for 2 hrs. the calipers started to work again and so I drove it home. I verified that the master cylinder and brake hoses did not cause the problem. I decided to change it all anyway. New master cylinder, hoses, rotors, calipers and bearings and a complete fluid flush and bleed. I am now confident in the brakes again. I believe this is the first brake change on this 26-year-old truck since it had all OEM parts. I replace everything with OEM parts except the calipers which were not available anymore from Ford. I did get new calipers not remanufactured, so I hope they hold up. I had a 92 Ford E250 Coachman motor home do the same thing after It had sat unused for many years. Calipers were the problem on that one too. I had just done bearings, pads, rotors, hoses, but used the original calipers because they seemed ok. After 10 miles on test drive the front calipers started to lock up. I put vice grips on the front hoses to keep the pressure off the calipers and drove it back home 1 mile. Changed both calipers and it was fine after that. I have never had this problem on my chevy trucks, so maybe that is just a ford caliper issue after they are not used for a while.

Hey! I did not get a notification that you put a new video up and now I can see that you have been adding a bunch of videos this last month! Hope all is well with you! The parts look really beefy compared to the European cars I am used to.

The parts on this pickup truck are larger than other cars we have. It is a 1-ton crew cab pickup truck that I use to pull a 5th wheel travel trailer. I have another truck chevy 3/4 ton that Is my beater truck I don't care if it gets beat up and scratched that I haul everything else in. Our daily driver cars have more conservative size parts. Everything is good here hope all is well with you too.
