Hey folks. I missed out some key perks to use (firmly planted, particle repeater) and insinuated that Charge Time MW didn't affect impact anymore because my personal testing was inconclusive in PvP. I've had a few people message me on r/CruciblePlaybook showing me hard numbers to prove my assertions wrong, and for that reason I'm sorry. I've got a lot to learn but I hope the video is still helpful in its majority to most people, especially with regards to technique. I'll do my best to double down on my research for the next video.

Great breakdown. I know you added that you had a hard time testing stability. However the perk firmly planted seems to give a nice boost to tightening that spread. So I believe it's quite viable to have one with firmly planted and any of the other perks you listed as well. Also my fusions of choice: Erantil (shocker i know), Main ingredient can get some nice rolls and is no slouch, and Tempered Dynamo are my go to ones. Tempered Dynamo is of particular interest as it can gain opening shot which others can not. I don't have one with it but would love to try it out.
Tempered Dynamo is definitely that weird kid in class that eats eggs raw and keeps crayons in their pocket any time someone needs a pen. I wish more fusions had as weird a perk pool as TD does.

My under pressure, backup plan w projection fuse wizened rebuke got me to 2100 solo. The thing is a monster. It should just fire salt with all the hate messages I get from using it.
I started using fusion rifles about two month ago then I wanted to know which ones were good still learning how to use them and when I really enjoy them it is great to see when other players look at you when you melt a mob with one shot but actually about 7 I think.
I used Fusions for IB armor quest steps and I think I am better with them as my secondary. With Y2 Annual Pass free from Sept 17th,I am farming for an ideal fusion
Excellent video but I think some points you should note in future are Weapon Mods (hip fire grip icarus etc.) and stability and how they affect your fusion as well as mistakes made by people in regards to these two things. Other than those two a truly informative and entertaining video, excellent work good sir.

Considering the changes made to especially high impact fusions, perhaps you could do a little updated version of this video and include your thoughts and opinions on the different exotics out there?
Software has never mattered for putting out a good video - your drive and your vision will determine how good you are. That said, I use a combination of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and 11 years of professional editing experience.
Don’t forget that you don’t get a lot of ammo with fusion rifles so a fusion rifle scavenger mod is a must have. It’s also good to have a fusion rifle loader mod and a fusion rifle reserves mod if your gonna make fusions a part of your load out.
Hoping we at some point get an Exotic Fusion Rifle whose exotic perk is a hold reload to change firing modes effect, that changes between acting as a regular fusion rifle and a linear fusion rifle, or alternatively between one of either type of fusion rifle and trace rifle.
I'm working really hard helping with the community event because I really want that temporal improvement to the menagerie drops. Last time I farmed a lot of it for a good erentil and the best one I got was Projection Fuse, Under Pressure and Backup plan, now I'm ready to keep farming for It. Fusions rifle with Backup plan are an amazing counter against shotgun rushers and shouldercharges, learning to swap and aim quickly for the body before backup plan shoots can be hard but It's so nice once you get used to It.
I have an erentil with a stability masterwork firmly planted and tap the trigger it also has particle repeater and liquid coils and impulse ms3 and poop sight. It’s a sniper when I slide into an engagement but if I don’t it’s not exactly a sniper if I had a range masterwork and projection fuse would it be better. Am on console also and using CB mod
Firmly planted is very A-mejin [especially for console] as it makes the bolt spread *super* tight and vertical, combining FP and tap the trigger made me put the gun down because I actually began to feel bad for the enemies.
Idk how it is on PC but i play lots of crucible on PS4 and a good amount of people use fusions. They are really good and im guessing i see them alot on console cause ease of use. Great video tho. keep it up!

Could be really good throughout the game, but requires that you have less than half your mag's ammo to work. If you're racking up the kills, then those perks become duds and you'd wish for something like Firmly Planted and Tap The Trigger instead.

Recommendation: For fusions do NOT use any damage increasing perks like rampage or kill clip. What you want on a Fusion is constancy which those perks do not provide. The only time I would recommend kill clip is with merciless as its masterwork form gives it constancy while its kill clip provides a very lethal super shut down. But because of its shorter charge time and inherent boost of a masterwork it is an outlier.
what about high impact reserves? since you always start with 2 bullets, I have noticed that sometimes I can one shot ppl from further distances than one with ragefinder, and btw, what are the perks in your erentil? mine has 900 charge time I think, and it takes forever to shot :/
I love the fusion rifle. It's a challenging rifle, and it's unique to Destiny. About the only other gun like it imo is the energy weapons in Apex. I think where the fusion rifle truly shines is in Gambit. It provides a more single target dps weapon than other rifles. It's like a pulse rifle, but with more punch. It may not be good against prime evil bosses, but you can't ask for a better option on mini boss enemies. For the prime evil bosses, aim precision on liner fusion rifles. You'll easily get over 20k hits.
Always loved fusions since d1, I have always gravitated towards the anti meta with sidearms and rockets. sad how there are not many decent ones on the post sunsetting market anymore.

On multiple fusions, the “chargetime MW reduces impact” statement was found to be untrue. This was tested on a wizened rebuke, erentil, and main ingredient. It’s belived by myself and a few others in the tribe that it was stealthpatched a little while ago and was left out of patch notes.
Quick correction: Charge time masterwork was revealed to lower the charge time as well as impact, so I would personally knock off the charge time masterwork.
Why use fusions when you got snipers, shotguns or even the most annoying but effective grenade launchers? They are far more effective in comparison, fusions just feel like a useless class in pvp.
Umm if you can use cover properly most fusions are easily countered now this is not to put down how effective they are because they can be extraordinary affective but they have the same problem as bows as they aren't point and shoot but they are fun to use

Nothing is as hard to beat as a good Fusion rifler tbh, except maybe a hella good sniper.

Loved the video often use fusion rifles but don't go into the crusible much because my reactions are to slow feel like giving it a try now
If you wanna use fusion rifles in crucible I suggest you use high impact frames

2021 Season of Chosen and the foundation here is still relevant, although numbers changed.

In the crucible, I'm deadly with Loaded Question but can't replicate my success with Erenthil. Idk why... But I still love fusions

Or you can aim at the belly button area of player models and it will kill as long as you are in optimal range so pre range drop off
