How many civilians do you think these Cops have already violated their rights without them even knowing?
End Qualified Immunity!

That is not a link to an original video, you are dogshite.
He's not afraid of an official complaint. This is what the problem is. Their superiors don't give a shit.
Of course not. Qualified Immunity!
Even if you sue them, it's the taxpayers that pay!
We Don't need to defund the Police, we need to end qualified immunity.
NO consequences; NO repercussions, Nothing, Nil Zilch NADA
@PeoplesCourtAudit even in states that don't have qualified Immunity, they haven't learned and they won't change.
The question is, what would the complaint actually be? What did the officer actually do that was so horribly wrong? If an officer hasn't done anything wrong, then why would he be afraid of a complaint. No rights were violated, at least in this video, as far as I can see.
@@SuperiorITS They have a policy to adhere to.
The best one that I love to point out is how it is illegal for a cop to Solicit a trust pass.
No one has ever cited an actual law that makes it illegal to solicit a trespass. The cop can ask the owner whatever he likes. The only thing you could do is to sue the cop for misrepresenting the circumstances under color of law. You'd have to prove that the cop lied to the owner about what you were doing, or made an actual demand to the owner that they trespass you.
Good luck with that.
The only problem with that is its not illegal to solicit a trespass....
@@chrisfs150 No, there's a sign out in front of that gas station that says no soliciting and a cop comes inside and slices the trust pass. There is no solisting laws
@@chrisgo420 Not trust pass, it's trespass like already posted here 2X.
Not solisting either, but solliciting.
@@user-bf8tv8xv4wyou contradicted yourself in your own comment. Lmfao. Goddamn there's some dumb mfs out here. You're one. 😂
Boy that cop is an idiot He's going to go get them to trespass you , I love how cops are stupid and agree to a lawsuit on camera it makes the lawsuit away easier
It’s called never being held accountable until the lawyers do file charges with the district attorney and then all of a sudden these pigs now give a shit.

I saw one the other day where the girlfriend gave up the dudes name and birthday for an illegal stop. That relationship should have ended right then and there.

They let the cop intimidate them cuz they don't know the law.
WHAT PD IS THIS! They need to hear from us now!
Highlands County Sherriff's Office - I think based on their sleeve
Pretty sure cops aren’t allowed to solicit a trespass to begin with.
Since when do Cops worrie about what they can do?
They don't care they do what they want
They start worrying when they get sued and get fired.
I've looked for the law on this, but can never find anything that states cops cannot do this.
No one has ever cited an actual law that makes it illegal to solicit a trespass, and there has never been a case, or a prosecution based on this imaginary law. The cop can ask the owner whatever he likes. The only thing you could do is to sue the cop for misrepresenting the circumstances under color of law. You'd have to prove that the cop lied to the owner about what you were doing, or made an actual demand to the owner that they trespass you.

"We got a call and somebody said." Being at the wrong address doesn't even slow down a cop.
I love the tone of 'righteous indignation'!
Tried to violate his civil rights, then AFTER realizing he fucked up, he tried to act like he didn't do anything. Remember, even after being suspected of murder, they don't face situations like this. Smh.....
Cops could care less when people sue them. The taxpayers will just have to pay the bill.

Don’t differentiate police from their fellow citizens with ‘civilian’. LEO’s are fellow citizens employed to enforce laws, and are also civilians.
I know I hate that bs. They say that with such contempt. “Ugh the civilians are so annoying”
So stupid. What makes them think that they can walk up to anyone and ask for ID. EGO
I got a call, ima run in here and try to convince them to trespass you then I get to bully you……ridiculous.
And even that is NOT how it works, if they want you trespassed and you come back again, THEN you’re trespassing not NOW you haven’t committed any crime yet so no ID.
Summary: of probable charges:
1. violation of Brown v. Texas (4A) demand of ID without RAS - (thus inadmissidble HEARSAY) ; thus, possible 6-12 months incarceration in a federal prison.,
2. Attempted Solicitation of a Trespass - based solely on HEARSAY .... another 6-12 mos. in a federal prison.
Rx: Stunning violation of TWO 'black letter' laws ... if adjudicated and upon conviction of cop, with automaticrevocation of immunities, 'should' result in civil liabilities lawsuit for 'depravation of rights under color of law' followd by lawsuit under Title 42 USC §1983. Second cop who stood by and did nothing to prevent illegality, should be arragned as 'co-conspirator' and as a corespondent in §1983 lawsuit ... both cops sued as PD employees AND as 'individuals'.
Best we can do is 3 days paid suspension.
none of that is true.
cop can ask for ID for any reason any time, so you wrong, they can also LIE
and it legal to solication a trepass.

The Police CANNOT solicit a tresspass! What he did was illegal.
Aw officer, did you not get the trespass 😅😂
Just another cop that was bullied in school and now is a cop trying to feel self importance.
the dirty cops SHOW THEMSELVES
Blue line gangsters.
There not tough enough to be gangsters, just corrupt cowards.
Police officers protected immunity needs to be taken away, this would put a stop to rogue officers acting this way once and for all.
That officer is a liar, after he knew that citizen knew his rights he came back with oh we made a mistake it was the other station, why didn’t the other station say where are you guys or dispatch asking for their location 😅
Going in and telling them to trespass them is against the law.
A cop soliciting a trespass is 100% illeagle .
Awesome job....much respect
Soliciting a trespass is illegal itself. This cop is way outside the scope of his duties.
so as a cop I can violate the laws and get sued and never have to pay because someone else pays it for me what a deal
Cop: “Show me your ID”
Citizen: “Show me your high school diploma”
Um..... quota?
Being met; diversity yeah!
Take him to school, teach him a lesson.
Soliciting a trespass should be illegal in the USA
I will NEVER be on the side of anyone who says, “if you knew who I am,” or anything like it. Clown world.
Let’s be clear the threat of a complaint is wasted breath. Cops don’t care about a complaint, it goes nowhere.
Soliciting a trespass it’s called
This is getting ridiculous that they don't know what they took an oath to ? How does this keep happening? They just keep making themselves look ignorant. Learn your job.
Norris & Knight, Got it.
S**T!! We better be carefull - he might be Chuck Norris' brother
Why anyone would want to do this job is beyond me.
This why citizens need to boycott this gas station
The gas station (actually convenience store) acted very well in this video. So why would you want to boycott them?
This bloody obsession with ID. Just staggering. Its like their FIX
Maybe the cop should have done an investigation before they interacted with the people in the SUV and none of this would have happened. Typical cops!!
Envoke your right to remain silent.
"I am going to go in and illegally solicit a trespass for something you were not doing. BRB"
To bad store owner won't tell thugs they need to get off property and trespass them !
Did anyone see him talk to someone or on the radio NO. like his lies are going to work and a lawyer is going to scare the hell out of cops especially if it's got to do with their lawsuit against them
Stop propping them up when they break the law that cop didn’t give you his badge number stop propping him up. But I do love the way you talked to Morris in the end.
Failure to give badge number
Solicited a trespass
Dude should've gone inside with the officer to hear exactly how he illegally solicited a trespass
Also, you CANNOT solicit a trespass!
Illegal for cops to solicit a trespass.
Soliciting a trespass? Just no..
We got a call in only hearsay.
Suspicion of "what"? Is the first question, should be, lol.
There is no Suspicion! This cop is an idiot!
These cops need retraining
Once again, we see that police today have lost all common sense, compassion, and sense of community.
Why did the passenger give up his ID?!
Citizens rights, not civilian rights. Cops are civilians , just as we are.
When the coward cop comes out of the gas station knowing he was at the wrong gas station he went to the passenger first. Clearly scared of the guy standing up the cop.
Idiot doesn't even qualify to work at uber eats
Too many folks know enough about the law to get themselves into trouble. This gentleman did a good job throughout the contact, although I wasn't clear if he thought police needed RAS simply to ask for ID. Cops can always ASK, but they can't DEMAND identification without articulating RAS or PC of a particularized crime.
Folks would be light years ahead of the police if they took the time to learn just one or two basic "challenge" questions to ask while in these types of police encounters.
1. "WHAT'S A CARROLL SEARCH?" or,
2. "WHAT TWO ITEMS MUST BE LEFT BEHIND AFTER SERVING A SEARCH WARRANT?"
Nine out of ten officers won't know the answers, even though they are fundamental to police work. It's a quick and easy way to test an officer's knowledge of the law right then and there.
BTW, how many know the answers to the two challenge questions?
Hey Barney,Andy is calling you.
Why did he let the pig chase him off?
pirates
I just watched a pig stand upright and walk around!!!! I didnt know
We got A call is not a law ,all they do is illegal. They just hope hopeing you don't know the law. They made three violations of the law and just don't care.
The old trespass trick. Sad
"Ah-queez" to your authority.
Backing up stupidity by adding more aggression You are hired as a cop.
Most people know about audits on RUclips these days yet the fact that cops continue to act like dicks on camera tells us everything we need to know about the mentality of people who join the force.
"Aquese"? LOL
Boy he really showed the cop lol
Don't even bother saying complaints!!!!! They don't give a shit about that!!! Tell him that you are going to the chief !!!!!or local news!!!
I have an idea. When we are stopped, regardless of the reason, we should be prepared with a FOIA/Open Records Request. And serve the cop with the request. In many states, a FOIA/Open Records Request can be served to any public employee. Well that includes cops. So, let’s give them one for the traffic stop. Save ourselves the trouble of going to the station. Ask for everything associated with the stop, the CAD/Call number, info given to dispatch, and the BWC video. May not get it, but it would be a hoot to see the look on that cop’s face, wouldn’t it? What do you think he will tell everyone at the station?
Youth in eyes tyrants
Officer Norris is a clown.😂😂😂
So he's going inside to solicit a trespass which is illegal
The police in ALL circumstances can ask you for ID, but unless you have committed, are about to commit, or are in the process of committing a crime, you have the right to refuse. If they order you to produce ID in any circumstance outside of this, and ask more than once, or try to persuade you otherwise, it's a direct violation of the 4th and an indirect violation of the 5th amendment.
it's pronounced "ah-quee-ess"
Someone called me, and said you're not a real cop.
Watch that lil piggy cops legs waddle into the gas station, Bet he couldn't run a block..LOL!
I hope the auditor took it further 🙏.
this is why people hate cops
The cop looks funny walking, one foot walks one direction and the other a different. He was likely picked on because of that so he became a lame cop.
I wished they had .79 fountain drinks where i live 🥵
You’re in guilt of being reasonable suspicious. Hahahahaha.
So, the police officer received a complaint that someone was selling items outside the gas station. In some way, shape, form, or fashion the individual to whom this footage belongs raised suspicion. The officer tried to identify the person and explain the situation, but the person didn't want to listen. As I don't have the original call tape or a report, I don't know the description, if any, of the parties being reported so I can't say the police officers negligently and carelessly detained the wrong person/people. In any event, the officers identified themselves and realized they had the wrong person and didn't pursue it any further. The owner of the video should have simply allowed the officer to speak instead of being as rude as he was. The officers actually may have made a mistake, but I don't see anything egregious in this video, other than the person filming.
Corrupt cops tarnish the badge and betray public trust. This video vividly displays the consequences: an ignorant officer faces accountability, while a rookie learns the importance of respecting citizens' rights. Refusing ID when there's no crime is exercising First Amendment rights, and this audit failure underscores the need for better police training and accountability measures..
Don't forget that titles of videos that promise something - and don't deliver are clickbait.
Idiot Cop Gets Owned And Rookie Cop Learns!
I don't see how the Rookie cop learned anything or how the lead cop got owned. The auditor argued with the cop until he went back to his car.
Deprivation Of Rights Under Color Of Law
Summary:
Section 242 of Title 18 makes it a crime for a person acting under color of any law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.
For the purpose of Section 242, acts under "color of law" include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within their lawful authority, but also acts done beyond the bounds of that official's lawful authority, if the acts are done while the official is purporting to or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties. Persons acting under color of law within the meaning of this statute include police officers, prisons guards and other law enforcement officials, as well as judges, care providers in public health facilities, and others who are acting as public officials. It is not necessary that the crime be motivated by animus toward the race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin of the victim.
The offense is punishable by a range of imprisonment up to a life term, or the death penalty, depending upon the circumstances of the crime, and the resulting injury, if any.
TITLE 18, U.S.C., SECTION 242
Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, ... shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

I would of walked ahead in store to ask. Owners always agree with cops.
Not sure about illegal asking, but demanding with no grounds Yes.

In all fairness this cop could be a plonker, but so is the certain individual who they are inevitably looking for. Whether or not you have done something bad. If you know you are innocent you should have no worries handing your ID over, yes? No wonder why the cops don't give a shit anymore, because of all you over entitled "free citizens" love to see how free you'd be with no laws in place. We'd all be dead a very long time ago hahahahaha
