    Good tip with the tape! I just use a piece of luminous tube, Personally never done that well with these, I’ve had better luck with the old storm firebait or squidgies or powerbait now using biwaa and mollix but I’m sure they will find a purpose! I’ll probably drop them over a reef where anything that moves gets eaten

    I flatten the barb slightly with pliers. Huge barb on those hooks. Makes rigging easier and hookup hasn’t diminished at all for me

    I just snip of the Barb. It's easier to unhook and better for the fish. Also its easier to get out if you snag something.
    And if you keep the line with pressure on it they won't get our

      This is late, but yes definitely, it’s going to be on the lighter side for a 5” but 1 oz is pretty heavy unless you’re just jigging it

      @@PROQUIL usually they arent that expencive but nlbn's are the best quality you can find thats why they are expencive and they are very worth it if you know where and how to use them
