After the skating ring (located where they made extended parking for the theater closest to E.14th) was over, cats driving would bend the block by Winchell's (I think it's AllStar Doughnuts now) across the street from Bayfair until the 82 & 40 bus lines picked everyone up. Then cats would strike down E.14th to the AM/PM gas station, where folks from the Town who didn't go to the skating ring would come because they knew the side show was gon pop off. All 4 corners would be packed, the AM/PM lot would be sold out for sure, the Big O lot across the street was sold out, Doggie Diner's corner (where the fire station is now) was sold out and so was the corner of McDonalds, only the McDonalds wasn't even there yet. Everybody would head to Eastmont when them boys (one time) started coming around trying to bust up the side show, not to mention Taco Bell was one of a few places that was still serving food that late. And for the late, late nighters, we'd strike over the Hegenberger ramp and hit up Dennys, others starting gathering at the Hegenberger AM/PM. Those were the days...shit, I ought to write a movie script, and call that shit 'The Side Show: How it All Began.' Lol
