According to a 2017 study, a B12 deficiency is associated with severe dry eye and eye pain. The Researchers determined that the findings indicated that vitamin B 12 deficiency is related with neuropathic ocular pain. Dry eye symptoms may occur due to poor tear quality and tear film dysfunction, both of which are sometimes associated with vitamin D deficiency. According to various studies, vitamin D supplements may help by reducing inflammation on the eye’s surface, and improving the efficiency of lubricating eye drops. Other vitamins that help dry eye: Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Lutein and zeaxanthin, and Zinc!

I just read that B12 also heals cracked lip-corners as B12 repairs damaged protein(collagen). This normally is the job of B2 on cracked heels...

I had the experience of dry eyes largely as a function of depletion of B12.
I would like to know if this depletion brought on by taking metformin could lead to Parkinson's disease?
