  • Research shows that the vitreous, the clear gel-like area in the eye between the lens and the retina, becomes deficient in specific antioxidants over time, causing the collagen fibers inside it to clump together. These clumps, called floaters, cast shadows on the retina. Floaters can range from annoying to debilitating, and in todays; video we’ll explore a new vitamin that claims to help with symptoms.

The Floater Intervention Study (FLIES) is a registered (ISRCTN15605916), clinical trial on the visual discomfort experienced by floater sufferers.
There were 61 patients in the study, which is a relatively small sample size, but I was impressed with the study criteria, selection, and the methods used to qualitatively and quantitatively measure floaters.
The main study findings were as follows.
67% of patients had improvement in their symptoms within 6 months
46% decrease in visual discomfort from floaters
47% improvement in daily visual experience
    9% improvement in contrast sensitivity
VitreousHealth’s patented blend of nutrients, based on the formulation used in the groundbreaking double - blind, placebo-controlled Floater Intervention Study (FLIES), gives the vitreous the nutrition it needs to reduce the severity of floaters.

Frustrated right, me too, there is a laser procedure that pulverized them, but it is hard to find a dr who specializes in floaters, but they are out there , last resort, a surgery to removed completely the vitreous from inside the eye and replaced with a saline solution, no more floaters but is very risky!

It happened to me , first on my left eye, total blind on that eye . It took 3 months to clear, started with floaters, and then they became bigger and bigger very fast, until I saw a huge dark nebula that completely blocked light
,I went to the retina dr next day and told me I had a vitreous bleeding, hemorrhage due to a retinal retinopathy and send me back to my regular dr to control my diabetes 2 ....then like 6 months later it just happened in my right eye but this time it was less just a bunch of dark big floaters that bothers me a lot as I am writing this, again my eye dr told me we have to wait 2 o 3 months, retina is ok . The next step is to get laser surgery to make those vascular vessels disappear because they don't belong there . They formed due to diabetes...so we have to be very patient, I am 61 can't work like this now, is very difficult to keep going.....
