Featuring the very same algorithms as the Weiss DS1-MK3, the MM-1 offers five flavours of limiting; transparent, loud, punch, wide, and deess; intelligently progressing as the ‘amount’ knob turns, and blendable with the mix control, to give you precisely the right amount of power over the feel of your masters. ✮

I can confirm...it's really that good. I have just about every limiter and clipper plugin and this really is in a class of its own. The DS1 bundle is a no-brainer.

I have major dsp issues with this one though so I rarely use it, especially when tracking anything... I'm on the latest 14" MBP M1 using rosetta and its an energy hog for sure

@@cassetteo You're right...it does consume CPU. I don't find this to be a suitable plugin for tracking though because of that. It's more a post effect in my opinion.

Still one of my favorite on the mastering chain. Took some time to learn how to use it ;)

to the extent that I cant imagine ever needing to use such a process on strings or piano (gain or careful compression on piano sometimes, peak limiting - no), it's soooo tiring hearing and seeing the fallacy of "louder = better", and from pro audio companies.

Could it be used on a PC to master the Live signal output in OBS?

What is the red in the graphic? Can it touch the other colours or does that mean it's distorting?
