Today I did a comparison between the Softube Bus Processor and the Rupert Neve Portico 2 Master Buss Processor. I think the Softube compressor does a great Job. I really had to work hard to make the analog Rupert Neve sound better than the digital Softube. I needed the blend control, the Red Silk and the stereo field editor to make the difference. With those settings the Rupert Neve wins without a doubt. But the Softube Bus Processor really did a great job. It's definitely worth the money. It may be the best digital bus compressor out there.
You can't go wrong with softube.... I love their passive EQ that they made in collab with NI too....actually everything i own by softube gets used often, even the freebies.
This is a really great track, Dom! I don't think we've heard this one before? I especially like the descending bass line under Iro's repeated vocal melody in the pre-chorus. Really good writing.
@@DomSigalas Seems you have a small stash of quality tracks that people would like released. I think both this and the track you usually use should be published.

I saw this come out, and didn't think much of it. "Oh it's just another bus processor". However, the youtube algo brought this up while I was finishing my coffee, so I thought hey why not. Wow! Now purchased.
Just compared Softube's bus processor to Neutron's 3 compressor and exciter chain. Tried different genres and number of tracks. With some settings and sound levels Netron may become harsh on bus. Softube never will. But from the other side Neutron 3 has 3 frequency bands in its compressor and exciter and exciter also has 4 saturation types(tape, tube, etc). The only feature that Neutron doesn't have is Air filter. Both Bus processor and Neutron's chain show their best on busy mixes with lot of tracks. Thanks for the video.
