Please don't forget to add the plug in title and company name on the titles of your videos - this allows us to search your videos by company or search for a specific plug in and actually find it, I am still watching stuff you did 7 years ago ha!. For example if I type "Softube" in the searach field of all your videos this viedo wouldnt (actually doesn't) pop up. Well done for the great work, huge fan of the analytical style of your videos free from clickbaits and always to the point and alwwys respecting your viewers time - keep it up man and thanks again for all the work you do
I was in doubt to buy it, I gave it a firm test, ended up buying it. It has so many great features. I like it a lot. Slamming on the drums works well with this beast as well :). Thanks for taking the time to share your review on it !
Ok, when you set it up and play the song i realized i have smile on my face 8:07 ... I guess it means that sound is awesome :) As always great video Mike!
I might have to compare this with Arturia's Bus Force. This has spacial controls, but otherwise, it would be an interesting comparison since the Arturia can change processing order in parallel.
Thanks for the video and demonstration. Aside from the saturation portion I did not hear much difference although it could have been my sound system. From what I could discern, I like the versions from UAD, SSL Native and BWX a lot more.
Nothing will be heads above SSL itself, lol. They invented it, they own it, and they make a 600 dolalr plugin with controlelr included for it. The rest is hobby producer league stuff.
Top 10 what? Most sales? Does that make Waves the best? Was there an industry wide vote somewhere that we all missed? Softube is one of the most respected plug-in companies in the business. Most of the prominent reviewers love their stuff. Not only that, they have some of the best customer service in the business. I love their stuff. Don’t like it, don’t buy it.
@@kappyLV Universal audio is a million times better. Only 4, or 5 Softube plugins are useful. The plugins are very expensive, when the great majority of there plugins aren't that good. Waves would be about 4th best.
Softube is one of my favorite plugin makers. Actually, they might be my #1! They make great quality plugins, and the ears are the best judges.

Was hoping you'd do a video on this one. Thanks, Mike!
Soon as I saw the tempo sync I immediately thought MIKE! Have the demo and was hoping for this review so thanks

how much "drum slamming" do you need in 2023 lol? It's an overused 2010 technique that just sounds dated.

Mike’s back 🎉

Yeah, Bus Force isn't talked about nearly as much as it should be!
Any updates?

Song has a very QOTSA vibe to me
It's good, but is it really heads and shoulders above the likes of Glue, SSL Native or Arturia Bus Force? I don't think so.
Nothing will be heads above SSL itself, lol. They invented it, they own it, and they make a 600 dolalr plugin with controlelr included for it. The rest is hobby producer league stuff.
Better than SSL compressor 2 for sure (I have both)
@@levondarratt787You are wrong. The coders are usually outsourced and they didn't do a perfect job..
More busses.
I don't get the hype around this bus processor , i mean it's a good plugin all-round but imo nothing superior or groundbreaking
Totally agree. There are way better tools to do what this does.
I agree.
@@NinthDensityWhich tools are "way better" than this one?
@@user-eu6wp6ws7c
Ozone and plugin alliance 50 and 80 series come to mind.
@@NinthDensityOk thanks
Softube isn't in the top 10 plugin manufactures, they sound very average in general.

@@johnmcaulay8448, one man’s opinion. I’m sure UA makes great plugins but your assessment of Softube is way off.
Lol Softube used to make plugins for UA
@@albertoramirez7421 Lol Softube plugins aren't that good, & the facts remain wouldn't make the top 10 plugin manufacture's 🤫🤐
