AFAIK this is the same algorithm as the DS1 Mk3, which Softube also offers, but simplified and streamlined to be used as just a master bus compressor. This is basically the DS1 Mk3 in easy mode.

BTW. there is no analog / rack mount version of the DS1-MK3. It is all digital.

Channel 1 and channel 2 are mid and side in m/s mode. Otherwise, they're stereo left and right.
