    As a language and foreign cultures lover, I find both your maps drawing and alphabet writing so, sooo interesting. Your explanations are very informative, I love learning all the time, and your voice is very soothing. My most recent interest is hindi language and, of course, devanagari alphabet (which is actually an alphasyllabary - based on syllables, not letters). Would be great if you could scribble that, sometime in the future. (I did look on the channel for this and didn't find it, apologies if I missed it). But I am watching your channel anyway! Congrats, you put in a lotof hard work. 🍀

    Phoenician alphabets sounds just like Arabic
    I was feeling sleepy while I was listening to you pronouncing them
    I was thinking why does that sound kinda familiar? 😮... Mind blowing! Then I realised it's like Arabic
    The Arabic alphabets : *(some Arabic kinda sounds similar to the Phoenician alphabets)*
    أ= Alif / 13:01
    ب= Ba'a / 13:02
    ع = 3ein / 13:20
    د = Del / 13:03
    ه = ha or ha'a
    without breath pronouncing / 13:05
    و = Wew / 13:06
    ح = ha'a / 13:08
    but the H with breath pronouncing
    ت = Ta'a / 13:10
    ك = Ka'af / 13:13
    ل = Lem / 13:14
    م = Mim or ma'a / 13:16
    ن = Noon / 13:17
    ص = Sa'ad / 13:23
    ق = 9o'a / 13:25

    Hi there I know this is not relevant to this video, I'm from New Zealand and it would be so cool if you did something about nz whether that's about history or maps. By the way I think your work is amazing thanks 😊

    It's so strange that you make this video as I am researching a bunch of Semitic scripts. I love writing them all and finding the relations between them all.

    Are you ever going to do a cuneiform video? It’s one of the first languages and very interesting

    • @ASMRctica
      @ASMRctica  2 года назад

      I think so! I haven't read so much about that script yet, but it sure looks super interesting. Would be nice to find a tool that can write in the wax just like the cuneiform letters were written in clay

    Southern Mesopotamia was the first to have a written language and used clay tablets to write.
