I watched when I was 17 and now I'm 25, back he inspired back I downloaded this video and watched it everyday and ran everyday...
And now you are close to 30. and Rob is 40. It is crazy how time flies.
If you listen carefully Rob explains why he takes Each supp before his run. Amino acids such as BCAA and glutamine are just as crucial as protein when it comes to muscle building. Unlike protein amino acids are difficult to consume in everyday foods, so it is helpful to take amino acid supplements in addition to whey protein that may contain small amounts of aminos
He does it to incorporate other muscles. In the video he said he was going to mix HIIT with endurance running. He's mentioned multiple times in other videos he hates static jogging as it doesn't burn that many calories.

If you feel like you need to drink when you are doing cardio, drink it. If you don't, well... don't. Your body responds differently then his. Do what makes you feel better and what works for you.

Rob, you should strongly check out vivobarefoot. U'll run like a pro then. Barefoot running's the way to go!
u'll reduce ur injury rate strengthen ur calves and all round run at greater efficiency.
but if you run with an empty estomac, you're not gonna lose muscles too ?

Yes and no, it's such a minute amount of muscle loss that you won't even notice. But that's why he takes glutamine which is the most abundant amino acid in the body and the BCAA's to counteract what would otherwise become muscle breakdown.

great video and interesting video but you should probably take some tips from people on parkour not that you would take advice from a 12 year old but i have trained since i was 3 and i do know that its mostly cardio you focus on but parkour is great and you already know the basics so i suggest asking around
