Seriously the fact that Kaido keeps tanking all these ridiculously powerful attacks while still supporting the island is nothing short of insane his durability truly has lived up to if not surpassed the hype.
Yeah. IDK what high expectations I was holding when King of the Beasts, Kaido, fell from that Sky Island. But I can safely safe that he surpassed those unrealistic heights I set. He really is the Strongest Creature.

The best thing about this is that Luffy fights Kaido in order to let everyone on Wano eat freely. He promised Tama, that she will never be hungry again.
Both Katsumi Ishizuka and Akihiro Ota did a fantastic job with this scene. Ishizuka did the storyboard and Ota the animation, both of them are super talented.
I love Ota’s style, the wiggly lines that on the face and especially the aura make the characters expressive and keeps the attacks powerful, its masterful
Ota's been around since Dressrosa, he did the shot of Luffy running from the giant toy soldiers up the steps. It really feels like he stepped out of his shell during World trigger's last season because ever since, he's just gone absolutely nuts
He's gained two new haki level's since then. Crazy how much it's taking to defeat kaido, he really lives up to his name of being the strongest creature on earth. Also we have to remember he's been fighting while lifting the entire Island this whole time. 😱

The west has given it this strange secondary meaning to only talk about animation that stands out, but it literally just means "Drawings." Same with Key animation. Key animation is just the drawings (Key Frames) that sculpt the overall movement of a shot. versus Inbetweens which are drawings added between the keys that fill in the movement to make it more smooth. You don't generally get smooth movement without inbetweens so Gotta show love to the unnamed inbetween artists too.

One Piece and Mob Psycho are in a league of their own when it comes to animation sequences. AKIHIRO OTA IS GOATED for animating this scene my god and ISHIZUKA IS GOATED for the storyboard.
The fck are you talking about? They keep repeating the exact same animation scene between Gogeta and Broly, only with One Piece characters superimposed over the DBZ characters instead. They've just reused the same scene about 8 times in a row. I knew exactly what was about to happen before I even watched the clip. Oh and spoiler alert, I know exactly what's gonna happen in the next fight they animate (exactly the same as this) Just two people flying at each other, across a void of broken square rocks, whilst screaming at the top of their voices, winding up the exact same pointless attacks, only to clash into an explosion of rainbow colours.
My two most favorite moments in One Piece. First, when Luffy stopped Nami from stabbing her Arlong tattoo and Nami asked Luffy for help. Second, when Luffy came back from the dead flying a dragon.

Every scene in One Piece has "Sakuga." The west has given it this strange secondary meaning to only talk about animation that stands out, but it literally just means "Drawings." Same with Key animation.
Key animation is just the drawings (Key Frames) that sculpt the overall movement of a shot. versus Inbetweens which are drawings added between the keys that fill in the movement to make it more smooth. You don't generally get smooth movement without inbetweens so Gotta show love to the unnamed inbetween artists too.

One Piece and Mob Psycho are in a league of their own when it comes to animation sequences. AKIHIRO OTA IS GOATED for animating this scene my god and ISHIZUKA IS GOATED for the storyboard.
The fck are you talking about? They keep repeating the exact same animation scene between Gogeta and Broly, only with One Piece characters superimposed over the DBZ characters instead.
They've just reused the same scene about 8 times in a row. I knew exactly what was about to happen before I even watched the clip. Oh and spoiler alert, I know exactly what's gonna happen in the next fight they animate (exactly the same as this)
