Something that I really love about Kaido is how different he reacts to Luffy than other villains. Every other villain has gotten frustrated or angry whenever Luffy manages to match them (even Katakuri once Luffy caught on to how future sight worked). Kaido on the other hand gets more happy and excited because unlike most One Piece villains, he actually likes to fight challenging opponents. It definitely helps make him a little more unique.
That's because he is a very powerful beast... There are only few people in the whole world that can challenge him.. Luffy was the person who gave him the most excitement in the fight as his haki is very powerful... Whereas other enemies of luffy didn't had so much gap of power compared to luffy

The reason I loves this fight so much is how passionate kaido is about this. Just realized that they were moving faster than the speed of sound. It took several seconds of their clash before any sound was present, and sure it could just be considered an artistic choice to add depth or smthn, but I see it as them having been moving faster than the speed of sound.

i can say somewhere at around this point.... luffy has officially "matched kaido" its gonna be a couple more episodes until he surpasses him, but its wild to think about his progression through this fight. luffy has been learning from all combat applied experience since climbing wano.. i know its tech a 5v2 at first.. and luffy does get dropped MULTIPLE times he doesnt die and keeps getting up.. hes getting better with the haki types EACH GO AROUND. its like him maxing it out each give is making him use it better or something but i can see why he unlocks some cool feature in a few episodes
Its crazy to think that Luffy started as a nobody in a barrel, then he went on a rampage and cleared East blue of all the stronger pirates there, went on grandline and then new world where he beat 3 warlords, entered 3 goverment facilites and escaped all 3 of them, saved countless people's lives and freed them, learned all 3 forms of haki on an advanced level and now clashes a Yonko on an even ground. Luffy's already shown to have the power to match a Yonko. His biggest issue now is Gear 5's stamina/aging side effect. In an uninterrupted fight, he'll still lose to Kaido, Big Mom and Shanks due to them having no problems keeping up. Kaido literally has no downsides with his hybrid form, so I still think he will win vs Luffy in a rematch if we're talking about Egghead Luffy!

Just realized that they were moving faster than the speed of sound. It took several seconds of their clash before any sound was present, and sure it could just be considered an artistic choice to add depth or smthn, but I see it as them having been moving faster than the speed of sound.

Kaido would decimate Enel because Enels physical ability is nowhere near Kaidos level. Enel also has observation but it's not Kaido level thus Kaido would be able to dodge his attacks and Enel wouldn't be able to take a single hit from him
If Enels haki and physical ability was somewhat good he would be top tier because his df is so op

i can say somewhere at around this point.... luffy has officially "matched kaido" its gonna be a couple more episodes until he surpasses him, but its wild to think about his progression through this fight. luffy has been learning from all combat applied experience since climbing wano.. i know its tech a 5v2 at first.. and luffy does get dropped MULTIPLE times he doesnt die and keeps getting up.. hes getting better with the haki types EACH GO AROUND. its like him maxing it out each give is making him use it better or something but i can see why he unlocks some cool feature in a few episodes
just wait for the whole fight to run and you will understand how things worked out and what luffy's position is

Its crazy to think that Luffy started as a nobody in a barrel, then he went on a rampage and cleared East blue of all the stronger pirates there, went on grandline and then new world where he beat 3 warlords, entered 3 goverment facilites and escaped all 3 of them, saved countless people's lives and freed them, learned all 3 forms of haki on an advanced level and now clashes a Yonko on an even ground. And all that happened in a span of 2 YEARS! This guy is just a menace, came in like a storm and completely flipped the whole order around.

In prder to become an essential part of the world structure, you must have the forces and territory.
Luffy's already shown to have the power to match a Yonko. His biggest issue now is Gear 5's stamina/aging side effect. In an uninterrupted fight, he'll still lose to Kaido, Big Mom and Shanks due to them having no problems keeping up. Kaido literally has no downsides with his hybrid form, so I still think he will win vs Luffy in a rematch if we're talking about Egghead Luffy!

I love how oda potray luffy power level. he start fight yonko with a glimpse future sight and ryou. then, he figuring out how to attack use conquer haki. but this is not enough to beat kaido. luffy wins because of he devil fruit. he literally god compare to kaido strongest creature. is fair enough because kaido is oni originally strong and get mythical zoan. luffy beat him by sending to bottom of hell. damn, oda writing is beautiful
