Honestly, this moment was inspirational and such a beautiful moment for Might Guy's character.
He should have beaten Madara and died in this fight making him a legend, but no the entire anime was about Naruto

Lol Accomplished nothing?? Guy simply humiliated Hack Madara who's using all the 10 Juubis and the Rikudou Sennin's powers, and Hashirama's cells, only using his own powers, and he protected Lee, Kakashi, Gaara, and everyone else until Naruto's arrival, this is one of the biggest accomplishments, not only in this arc, but in the entire Naruto franchise.

Ok this one is more plausible but I feel like Kishimoto could've writ in literally anyone to also do the stalling. Just because it was Guy doesn't mean someone else could do it, like Lee for example.

Note that Madara didn't just call him the strongest taijutsu user he's fought. He called Might Guy the strongest Taijutsu user, period. That is an insane feat. I was hyped to see Might Guy's skills ever since we watched Rock Lee embarrass Gaara in the Chunin Exams and damn did it pay off.
Imagine being the only person who COULD fight against Rikudou Madara 1v1 without using any powerful or legendary ninjutsu and still almost killing him.
FINALLY. I always wondered why there was never a proper clip of Night Guy on RUclips!

I just realised Might Guy vs Madara is kinda like Kashimo vs Sukuna where he uses a one time ability to fight the main villain. Except Guy did more damage and didn't die as easily.

The pan of Guy’s face coming into screen, followed by Madara’s declaration, and “Flow” is the sickest sequence in the whole series.
I think it's one of the most iconic moments in Naruto along with:
- Zabuza's redemption
- Rock Lee opening inner gates vs Gaara
- Guy inspiration speech before Lee's surgery
- Chouji taking a Red Pill for the first time
- Naruto coming back to save Konoha from Pain
- Bee sword dance against Sasuke and smoking Suigetsu with Tail Bomb

Because Guy was bending space, it's assumed he was moving near the speed of light, let's assume 2.90e8 m/s. With his mass of 76 kg (no training weight because he's in an active war) we can use the kinetic energy equation 0.5 m v^2 to estimate 3,195,000 terajoules of energy. For reference, the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki was 88 terajoules. So Guy kicked Madara with the equivalent of 36,000 atomic bombs.
This sounds so friken awesome and I didn't even understand all of it!
and yet Madara survived because of plot armor.
"Dad, it ended up exactly as you predicted". Where others laughed, Kakashi's father had the foresight to recognise the potential of The Might Guy.
This is one of my favorite payoffs of the show. The character went from the parody character to one of the strongest characters we’ve seen in the show because he worked so hard. Underrated fight too
I love how he said "Night Guy!" with absolutely no fanfare. That was 100% ferocity!
I would’ve been perfectly happy if that was how Madara was defeated.
A weakened Madara unable to control the ten tails thereby making Kaguya emerge out of him would have been more satisfying than the zetsu back stabbing

After the fight against Pain when Naruto falls down exhausted and is caught by Kakashi was also epic for me

I think that was the whole point of guy and lee's fighting style, the moves they use normally are just giga buffed by releasing all the gates
@@mrcopo804Exactly. Take the Morning Peacock for example. The technique is nothing more than just punching your opponent over and over again. But the punches are done so fast that they just happen to set the air on fire from sheer friction.
It's actually kind of fitting since that's the first technique you see him use when we are introduced to him
Some part of me really wishes that they had named it Dynamic Exit instead
2 small things I love about this scene. First, Kakashi's sharingan couldn't see it, and Gara's automatic sand shield couldn't shield him from the impact wave. Madara's rinnegan could track Guy - but the literal split second of him noting that space was bending left him wide open to take that head on (not that he would've moved anyway)
Probably top 5 moments in the anime, ever since it was stated the eight gates made a person stronger than the Kage, we never got to see its true power until this point and it did not disappoint
the fact that it almost killed juubidara is putting so much respect on the eight gates technique and i love it.

Anyone who hasn't seen Naruto before, I NEED you to understand how much the Eighth Gate got hyped up prior to this. We had known about the Eight Gates since the Chunin Exams way back in part 1. We knew the Eighth Gate existed, we knew it made you super strong at the cost of your own life, and we had seen what the other gates were capable of. At this point in the fight, Madara was basically untouchable. He was ragdolling all 5 Kages at once with little effort, he was easily dispatching many of the strongest established characters, he was straight up immune to most forms of damage. This was such a great payoff to YEARS of buildup.
I've always liked that after all these crazy jutsu, climbing to the highest possible level of taijutsu, the final move is literally "I am going to kick you as hard as it is physically possible for someone to get kicked. I'm going to kick you so hard that *I* will die"
"Of all of those i fought over the years there is no one, who surpasses you...I Madara declare you are the strongest of them all...!"
"At Taijistu" is an important omission here. Context matters.
To be fair, who else is stronger at this point in the show than guy? Hashirama doesn't hold a candle to him in 8 gates i would think nor would he beat madara with the 10 tails. It also works as just a flat statement of being the strongest person he's ever fought @Dilmahkana

@@Dilmahkana Madara definitely declared Guy as the strongest opponent he ever had at that time, meaning he placed Guy above Hashirama and the others. It makes sense because at that point, Sasuke and Naruto didn't got six paths power yet.
@@calebrichardson5259it’s also important to note hashirama isn’t even brought back at full power, which would also make him in sage mode much stronger than we actually see in the war. But yeah, guy is faster and punches harder.

Night Guy & Rock Lee are always my favorite character and its scenes like these that just say “I was right to love these guys!”
All that Kekke Genkai stuff, legacy of Hagoromo Ootsutsuki, Tailed Beasts and still the one, who nearly killed a god is a guy, who trained a lot.
One of those rare moments in anime when I kept on weeping for hours!!! Such an inspiring and beautifully written character arc! This scene worked especially well because during the war arc, Might Guy actually got a lot of screen time, be it during Kisame fight, or against Tobi or even during the multiple filler arcs in the anime! Because he was mostly goofy in all those battles, yet, was able to keep up on his own against Tobi and literally defeated Kisame, it was like a misdirection. He was always this strong

@@StephenOkore-r1o Rock Lee’s whole “hard work” theme is kinda a joke compared to Naruto’s hard work when u think about it. All of his skills come from Taijutsu because he sucks at ninjutsu. Naruto was terrible at ninjutsu also but mastered A and S ranked jutsu. And the funny part is he did this with a tailed beast holding him back messing with his chakra control. There was no tailed beast holding back Lee’s chakra control yet Lee only worked on taijutsu which comes off as lazy. If Naruto could do it why couldn’t he?

Basic madara was pretty much the equal of hashirama but hashirama is way weaker than madara with juubi. So yeah, in every sense of the word Guy is number one (if we don't consider juubi things)

How much do you even know about Hashirama to say that he's weaker. Hashirama's chakra alone is as much as the 9 tails. What do you know about his skills as a shinobi? Even Madara said that Hashirama was the strongest shinobi who was able to execute ninjutsu perfectly. If Might Guy was overall the strongest, Madara wouldn't have mentioned "Taijutsu". Don't go assuming whatever you want, Might Guy is stronger than all the Gokage for sure but that comes at the cost of his life. He can't take on legends like Madara or Hashirama without him dying too therefore he's not stronger or even "way stronger" like you suggested.

Uhhh..I don't think anyone made fun of his ability as a shinobi. He was very well respected actually. While growing up, Kakashi treated him as a direct rival and Kakashi was known to be a prodigy.

This was the hardest fourth shinobi war moment for me. Seeing an average mortal with no gifted abilities, by virtue of hard-work and perseverance alone, go toe-to-toe with a god-like character.
i watch this clip about 50 times a year, and its chills everytime
If this actually got the best of Madara but from his corpse Kaguya awakened or something like that, I think that would have been amazing, the way they got rid of Madara is such a dis service to the character that they had hyped up since the beginning he deserve to have been properly defeated even if not like this in some other way before the Kaguya fight started.
Like imagine Madara being like "I declare you the Strongest" in terms of Taijutsu and then actually getting his entire upper body destroyed leading to Kaguya emerging due to black zetsu messing with the body. Not to Mention he'd have his famous last words be "What?! He's bending space?"
