Something I loved from SG is the vastly difference in attitude from the characters, O'Neill is fabulous, he is acid and loves a good joke but when the situation calls he's dead serious.
I can do a reasonable impression of a German accent and my friends like making Hans jokes like "Damnit, Hans get ze flammenwerfer!" or "Hans, leave the tank alone! You don't know where it's been." and Carl jokes like the ones you find online. So one day, when they were making Carl jokes, I came in with my best German accent "You Americans are always talking Carl this, Carl that. Well my name is Carl and it's Hans you should be worried about."
O’Neil always kind of annoyed me. At times he was great. But at times he was kind of an insufferable man-child. They moved the character pretty far from the original film.. but, whatever, I love the show.
I was scrolling through videos and saw this title, I know the scene I’ve seen it before in a bunch of compilations, but I stopped and scrolled back because I was hoping the time was 10 hours
Thor is such a troll. he didn't warn Daniel that he had given his name to his ship. Then when Teal'c explains it he looks at Daniel as if his confusion wasn't genuine. Then Thor just keep on talking like nothing had happened.
I watched StarGate every time it was on and there is a LOT of scenes and even full episodes on RUclips that I have never seen. I find it every odd. It is like I am from an alternate reality where those scenes and episodes never happened. I find it very unnerving.
So basically since the Asgard got access to those ancient libraries, O'Neill could use them, become super smart for a while, solve their most important problems (like cloning) and before his brain gets damage the Asgard could delete it and restore him. Why don't they do it that way? Damn cause it's a TV show, nvm.
Seems a little wrong. Before when O'Neill went full ancient he went all stoic and non-humorous, he's still in this state just being translated but now his sense of humor is back?
Had the same thought when i first saw this, back in the day. Yeah, this show had few (only few) of those things. Probably the writers had problems with time and cut corners or couldn't solve the problem, how to fix the situation etc. etc. Went : fuck it, we just gonna do it like this. It happens
I always took this one more as Jack has been through it before, and knows that Thor will save him in the end. So, he is much more relaxed about everything. The first time he gets the repository, even Jack himself isn't sure if the Asgard can save him, but he is desperately trying to get to them, knowing they are his only chance. The 2nd time isn't a big deal, now that he is on an Asgard ship. He knows he will be fine, so jokes away.
Knowing how Jack's mind works, he's imaging himself in a sort of control room with lots of buttons and probably pieces of tape that say "Lights" and "intercom" before he shows himself.
On one hand I could see the lights being the first thing he saw to play with. On the other hand I could see the lights being the only thing he's not afraid to mess with.

So one day, when they were making Carl jokes, I came in with my best German accent "You Americans are always talking Carl this, Carl that. Well my name is Carl and it's Hans you should be worried about."
i think Thor gave O'neill too much power
O’Neil always kind of annoyed me. At times he was great. But at times he was kind of an insufferable man-child. They moved the character pretty far from the original film.. but, whatever, I love the show.
00:31 The look of horror on Danny's face when he realizes:
A. The Asgard named a ship after him.
B. Jack is "inside" a ship named after him.
Your sound is very low.
Of course Thor named his ship the Daniel Jackson (I see what you did there, writers 😉).
Man once Richard Dean Anderson and Don Davis left the show….it just went downhill SO fast…. 😭
No matter what. O,Neill never lose his sence of humor
I like the show more now than I did back then. TV really sucks nowadays
Advanced tech. Recorded all conversations. Asgard is china
hey look it's an O'Neill cylinder you'r welcome
Teal'c, what's with the hair?
horrible sound!
Polecam
I was scrolling through videos and saw this title, I know the scene I’ve seen it before in a bunch of compilations, but I stopped and scrolled back because I was hoping the time was 10 hours
audio sucks
Thor is such a troll. he didn't warn Daniel that he had given his name to his ship. Then when Teal'c explains it he looks at Daniel as if his confusion wasn't genuine. Then Thor just keep on talking like nothing had happened.
Jack clearly has some (undiagnosed?) ADHD.
Actually, the computer is translating. Lol
The which way do I go look as he was walking away, was all him. He ad-libbed that when filming.
🌴🙈🌳🌲🌞🌧️❤️
Someone explain to me how this is doing surround sound on my single speaker phone?
Hey! Who turned out the lights?!
why do the asgard like naming ships after humans?
Dont forget to turn your left ear DOWN after watching this
I dont recall this..what ep is it?

I watched StarGate every time it was on and there is a LOT of scenes and even full episodes on RUclips that I have never seen. I find it every odd. It is like I am from an alternate reality where those scenes and episodes never happened. I find it very unnerving.
wow could you make the audio any lower?
why while i am listening that on headphones i has only left side sound?
Seriously , Jack ?
1:31 that's a good whiskey
Part of this scene comes from Richard Dean Anderson’s love of the Simpsons, I’m sure.
Or Demolition Man

The baby bunny did the 187
Just a feeling
So basically since the Asgard got access to those ancient libraries, O'Neill could use them, become super smart for a while, solve their most important problems (like cloning) and before his brain gets damage the Asgard could delete it and restore him. Why don't they do it that way? Damn cause it's a TV show, nvm.
wat episode
season 7 episode 1
New Order, Part 2. It's the season 8 premiere.
Nsa see what I see cop you out your league don't have to make money for the city. Run a long now boy
Seems a little wrong. Before when O'Neill went full ancient he went all stoic and non-humorous, he's still in this state just being translated but now his sense of humor is back?
Had the same thought when i first saw this, back in the day.
Yeah, this show had few (only few) of those things. Probably the writers had problems with time and cut corners
or couldn't solve the problem, how to fix the situation etc.
The computer probably translate ancient humor aswell
I will always dislike videos that have unskippable and unreportable ads.
Use Adblock Plus.
Use the Chrome extension called Ublock

Knowing how Jack's mind works, he's imaging himself in a sort of control room with lots of buttons and probably pieces of tape that say "Lights" and "intercom" before he shows himself.
I knew he was going to say talk among yourselves it's so Jack
Great clip. Lol
(next time increase the volume =) )
