This video is a reupload to get rid of the intro that was in the previous video of the same clip since the Stargate Command platform does not exist anymore (I, like all of you, was getting slightly annoyed of it too). So here it is again!
still left in 9 seconds of crap as if it was your original content though.
You're so full of shit
I love how Thor is just casually sitting there like it's a normal thing for him.
Was about to say the same thing, an Asgard on a chair does look a bit comical.
"I am enjoying this 'chilling out.'"
To be fair how often do we see Thor Standing? Usually he brings his own chair.
@@Blueblue__ I feel like this is how Teal'c might say it, but not Thor. He would say, "O'Neill, this reclining apparatus is most suitable for my continued discussions with you."
Does he know he is setting on animal skin naked?
"5 minutes?"
"Thor drives."
I remember them doing this in another episode and i think Daniel's response was "..beats flying coach"
"Thor's driving." would have been the perfect reply to "Five minutes?"
I like how in season 1 Asgard were this mythical race barely talking to us apes and 7 years later Thor just hangs out with O'Neill :D
Well, save the Asgard home world a few times, and save Thor's life a few times as well, earns you a bit of respect.
There wasnt any Asgard in season 1
@@garrus8875 Episode 9 is all about establishing them. Episode 10 is all about the Alliance of the Four races.
@@garrus8875 ...Why wasn't there any?
Well he is the key to the genetic problem they are having, hence the safety they put in him to create his mini-me version if he was tampered with, he did save them a few times, they named an entire class of space ships after him and he held the knowledge of the data base they created...In Thors eyes he is pretty awesome :)
A display of Michael Shanks' *amazing* ventriloquism skills.
Stargate was so much fun, I miss sci fi like this.
The state of Hollywood is why I’m glad this show and Atlantis ended when they did.
Michael Shanks and... Michael Shanks
I have the first 6 seasons of SG1 on DVD, I think it's time to complete my collection.
0:55 - even Thor is like "what now?"
Daniel so nonchalant and chill while Carter had too much on her mind forgetting Asgard prefer the drop in the Oval Office cliche literally
ONeill loves this teleporter a little too much. My favorite scene was when he replied to Ely in SGU: "Then we beam you up to our space ship"
Eli with an i
I think jack loves all asguard tech ever since he got to control The Daniel Jackson.
My favorite is when Woolsey gets sent in by Thor and Oneill and Landry were walking past him and Oneill say's..."I thought we fixed this thing so that wouldn't happen"
He's a Star Trek fan (hence why he wanted to call the Daedalus Enterprise). Makes sense he'd want to use the closest thing they had to Star Trek tech.
@@heathb4319 that was prior Daniel
0:55 LOL, I love how even Thor's expression is like "are you crazy Carter?!"
The other Thor movement that gets me is his head tilting back as they beam out. Really just feels like he's showing off there.
Thor: No offense to your kind, Carter. But I wouldn't trust your species to look after my keys without starting a war over them.
I love how Daniel looks at her like "Normal monday in the SGC".
That ain't Monday though, maybe Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday but not Monday or Friday.
Love how Thor just sits in that chair! :D
Just like he’s one of the guys 😂
Every time the camera cut away from him, I imagined Thor kicking his feet like a toddler who was too short for their feet to reach the ground.
"What's the alternative?"
"How about tell the truth?"
Thor's expression 😆
Haha yessss
Iirc it kinda blown in their faces. They told him the truth, and the assesment that he was security risk turned out to be 100% accurate since he immidietaly wanted to tell everyone.
Imagine the guy doing his risk assesment. He explicitely writes into report to not trust him with sensitive info, that he will talk even if it would cost him his life, that he is not controlable and that he would not care about any consequences (for him, or for those whose info he is spreading) as long as he could be a whistleblower. And then hearing that those SG1 cowboys told him anyway.
@@iglidor *facepalm* though I agree with you and I remember the episode and how far they had to go to secure his silence
The supreme commander of the Asgard fleet, just sitting there chillin lol
Even he liked MacGyver and just had to come meet the man himself.
I personally like to think Jackson sat in the office alone for like thirtyish minutes reading notes after carter left.
or maybe he sneaked onto Jack's seat
more comfy
Well, that explains why he was in his dress uniform, hat included.

Would have been amusing if he called the president on the red phone and said "I'll be there in 60 Seconds, sir", then hung up.
I do love this. Look how quickly they have adapted to "Oh this is the new normal .. blink their gone .. blink they are back .. nothign to see here". humans ... lol
Just love how thor is just sitting there so casually
right next to Daniel who does his voice
The looks at the end 'well, that's the world we live in now'
Daniel Jackson doesn't get to say a word in this scene but you can hear the actor speaking Thor's voice. The presence of Jackson there is probably an inside joke.
Ummmmmm....you might want to re watch that.
I won't say I've forgotten how good this series was, but I've forgotten how good this series was.
O'Niel really enjoyed his credibility with the Asguard to it's fullest extent.
Two L's in O'Neill
The O'Neil with 1 L has no sense of humor.
I love Daniel's reaction don't look at me to Carter after o Neill and thor beam out
Interesting note: Michael Shanks is actually playing 2 characters here. Not only is he Daniel Jackson, but he is Thor as well!
He played Machello and himself in the Holiday episode as well.
When sam says how about tell the truth even Thor is like what you talking about sam.
Having the ability to teleport anyone on the planet instantly would be so amazing. You could travel the world in a fraction of the time it would take you normally.
you would be the size of a hippo in no time
It would mean the end of mankind.
@@DavidLS1 nah, you’d just need to regulate it so it wasn’t used as a weapon.
@@DissociatedWomenIncorporated How? Assassins, kidnappers and thieves could pop in and out at will.
@@DavidLS1 only if they’re given unrestricted access to the technology. Also teleportation could probably be used to help wean us off the nightmare capitalist system that causes 99% of crime, so there’d be far less of such people anyway. Humanity just needs to grow tf up 🤷♀️
One just have to love the Asgard and Asgard Beaming Technology. Seeing the President in five (5) minutes????? No problem going from Cheyenne Mountain to the White House.
You know this series was amazing but we could have used some more Thor chill time just talking like friends around the campfire type scenarios like this
I also really like the scene in the episode where Carter helps repel the replicator invasion of the Asgard homeworld she says she's hungry and Thor just brings out a bunch of colored cubes which consists of Asgard food and says he likes the green ones
just so chill from such an old and wise race😁
"Thor: "Möchtest du Nahrung aufnehmen?" So jedenfalls in der deutschen Fassung...Soweit ich mich erinnere, mochte er die gelben am liebsten und die müssen scheußlich geschmeckt haben....
Daniel just continued with his sodoku
the way Thor sits in human chairs is so funny but so damn cute, love that little fella
Thor just chillin 😂
God is it sad I knew exactly what scene this was just from a thumb of Jack sitting in a chair?
No.
not at all. I can usually tell what episode is playing in less than 5-10 seconds. At least seasons 1-8. 9 and 10 got weird and meh.
Even thor was surprise at her suggestion.
Hey, I upticked this scene even before watching it :p What about you?
Well, they do get the Prometheus her Hyperdrive Asgard version XD
i love how much of a time saver teleporting is
Ah Jack in a suit...
epic scene
"oh yeah!"
"Beats flying coach"
Asgard: Sure take our tech use it however you like.
the Federation: We don't do that here.
Coulson was killed by Loki right? SHEILD would be an immense ass...........et. Oh Wrong franchise.
That would actually have been a funny crossover. Imagine Loki being "You and what army?" only for the Daedalus to casually drop down from orbit
I miss this show so much lol
I miss SG1 :)
The real question do they teleport the exact way they are stand or sitting and did they just fall over on thors ship stand back up and pretend to have teleported to the president all cool
I just love when Jack wears that uniform.
Otherwise known as Tuesday.
Wouldn't you love to see that meeting?
Talk about a zoom meeting.
jack made that show great
what season and episode was this
Given how he responded, I wonder if Carter was actually diplomatically asking if it was the SGC.
It wouldn't be the first person the US government assassinated (or tried to in this case). And I mean in this show, not IRL.
@@canadian__ninja but would it be the first earth human that the SGC assassinated?
@@Blasted2Oblivion It's heavily implied that the journalist that was killed by getting hit by a car was killed by the SGC / US Gov. (Episode that introduces Sam's father iirc)
@@canadian__ninja I do have vague memories of that. I guess at the time I would have assumed the SGC (the good guys) were being set up by someone. I will have to watch it. And the rest of the series while I am at it.
If I remember that scene correctly, the journalist confronted O'Neill with a bunch of facts about the SGC including the word 'Stargate'. O'Neill tried to bluff his way out & wasn't very successful. He reported the confrontation to Hammond, who probably reported to the JC's. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess they are the ones who decided to terminate with extreme prejudice. Technically not the SGC doing the deed, but same command chain.
