I would like to see a "real time" mod and pulling over to nap. Just to pause the game. And continue at a later day. Also moving of the stick shift when shifting but the best would be the grinding of the gears if you fuck up.

Good video! I tried the accessories mods, and the KW wasn't working. I had the Pete before, and it was ok. I was more interested in the trailers and cargo, so BIG thumbs up for that!! Thank you much, driver!!

I do believe that as of now there is some issues with the accessories mod now, it's also not working for me anymore since I recorded this video
That's what makes these videos hard. By the time you put work into it, a lot of them update or don't work anymore.

I just got a pc and this game and was wondering if you’re able to use these mods in convoy.
As far as I have seen. Some mods will work and some won't. I don't play on convoy so I can't say for sure. From what I can tell the work shop mods don't work under convoy but off of the ats mods website they do.
i think they need to make a mod that applies ONLY to players that have like the G29 wheel or a wheel that has shifter and clutch pedal including the shifters that have the 18-speed buttons to where they have to shift it like the real truck wether they shift using double clutching to where if that clutch is pushed all the way to floor the clutch brake will engage and not go into gear very easily,or if they know how they can float the gears where they dont use the clutch but to stop or start out,they should also make an option if players have a wheel but no clutch pedal they should be allowed to create a button command to use for the clutch so even if they cant use the H-shifter options they can use that option starting with S (cant spell the word) so they can access it
They actually do have that. It's all in the settings of the game but you can float gears in this game. I'm a little rusty on how to do it, but I'll give it a try and show you how
so when you do a map mod, (more roads) will they not work with base game with no dlc maps? i am confused on that. thanks
A map mod will change the mad, it will usually only be good until the next map update. Unless your talking about the kind of mods that change textures such as roads, billboards ect?
@@redbelliedgaming roads from east cost to west coast. do you have to buy regions before you can have west to east road?
@Yelnats101 I don't use any map mods like that anymore only because when I used one the last time it caused my save file to get corrupted. I haven't had that problem since but I don't rum map mods as of this time anyways.

@Yelnats101 no problem. Glad I could help a bit. I know they do make some mods with them, however I personally stay away from them ever since the corrupted my save files but that's just my personal preference. I'm sure there are some good map mods out there, I'm just too chicken to try them out myself. Happy trucking brother
hey so i watched your video but mistakenly installed the realistic economy mod but i wanna uninstall it and when i deactivate it it crashes my game, send help
When you deactivated it, did you install or deactivate any other moss at the same time?
If you installed a newer mod it might be incompatible possibly. If you uninstalled a few other mods like trucks or accessories and your trying to load the game with it in sometimes it will crash, so you will need to sell those trucks then uninstall it.
If it's just the one realistic economy mod try finishing any deliveries you have before removing the mod. Also you could have an older version of the game as well

@Tomo-hb2tq what I've found if your just starting out is to lvl up a bit and unlock your skill points then reactivate this mod if you were lower lvl to start with...unless you really like a challenge lol

How to you increase the sound of the jake brake on the fly like that
Some Jake breaks have stages of braking. The louder setting is the most break force. I'll have a video next week showing how to do that and wich ones can

Bro every time I use a mod on American truck simulator it feels like playing on a Samsung fridge it’s always very laggy and glitchy
Get a better computer I got 70 mods on this shit and it works perfectly lol
It's definitely your PC or hardware inside your PC. I believe I'm around 110 mods in ATS and runs great. Sometimes it will crash from a bad mod but for the most part it runs great
@redbelliedgaming what pc do you have
Could also be slight mod confliction, slightly out of date mod or load order. Any time you have more than one mod on any game theres some user end optimization involved however its rewarding. Also having your mods and game on the same storage device/drive and restarting the game after installing the mod or unistalling is a big deal.

That's your opinion. If you choose to play the game without those mods then have at it. However I prefer them myself.
Now if your saying they will cause issues, I haven't seen any issues yet, and I'm using about 130 active mods as of this time
@@redbelliedgaming no I'm saying they destroy the economy while also ruining any "simulation" or immersion, can you explain to me the point of using a mod that makes the economy harder yet at the same time using an xp mod and money cheat? Would it not make sense to simply remove the economy mod and just do the highest paying jobs which are like 200k per? I fail to see the point in making the economy harder increasing the difficulty of the game but at the same time totally ruining the economy with money mods 😂
@3Zclap lol you don't run these at the same time. These are 2 different mods to run to change the game. I personally use the realistic economy mod to make the game more challenging. I showed the xp/money cheat mod to help ppl see what it can do. I never said use these mods in this order. This video is just top mods that I use/recommend lol
@@redbelliedgaming you also asked for comments about such mods and if someone would or would not use them and then you start arguing with me over my opinion 🤣 i see no point in trying to make the game harder and then switching to a mod that makes the game basically unplayable and hands everything to you, when if you keep the game without either of those mods its a middle ground you can grind like 10 jobs and max out the distance skill giving you access to jobs worth upwards of 200k per run the mods literally count each other out even when used separately you are some what chasing a rabbit when you can just cut out the middleman and play the game with no economy mods and then you dont need to use money mods or xp mods
