For $19 from Sweetwater a couple of years ago I got this Behringer and A/B compared it with an original Ibanez TS808 a friend of mine had. Not only they are sonically identical, the Behringer has a better bottom end. And by the way those whining about the "plastic" case, just do a side-by-side comparison of ABS (which is what the Behringer pedals are made of) and aluminum. You will be surprised to learn that ABS is a superior material in all categories except temperature, and by that we mean above 200 Fahrenheit. So yes if you intend to play your gigs inside an oven, or perhaps the crater of an active volcano (no that would be something), please do spend a few extra hundred $$ and buy the expensive/boutique pedals. 🫡
I think you're right. All of this company's pedals are clones of famous pedals, so the sound quality is good. Furthermore, there's no doubt that plastic bodies are better than die-cast bodies in terms of breakage and weight.
I for one am glad to see Behringer get the airing they deserve. The whiners say that their plastic construction makes them cheap; the plastic is thick, heavy and durable. I've never had a problems with their problematic construction and can't help but feel that anyone who is liable to damage one is way too hard on their equipment no matter what. I have seen and heard many highly qualified designers and builders not only give a high okay to their construction and materials, let alone the quality of the signal/effect they are designed to deliver. Until recently (as far as I know) the majority of their effects units sell at $19.00 each, allowing any guitarist to build a 5-unit pedal board for under $100.00, and all good effects: Overdrive, Distortion, Delays, Chorus, Reverb and plenty more. Placing or replacing a 9v battery seems a little silly and yet is ultimately simple: do it once and you've got it. Some units are already selling above their initial price, and being declared as "dead-on" as the units they emulate. I have yet to be disappointed with any I've added to my collection and I find them sound and reliable. Way to go Behringer!
I have this pedal. Is it as good as my Ibanez Tube Screamer or Vertex Over Drive pedal? No but close enough to be on my pedal board. You can't beat the price. Makes you wonder if this pedal is under priced or are the Ibanez and Vertex overpriced.

Would be nice if the same would happen to you on your video.
Great demo! I’m now confident to get one of these! Thank you!
Thanx♪
Hi. Does this pedal sounds similar to ibanez TS 808 ? Thanks.
That's right.
Thats the one that they made a copy of. It´s cheep and worth every penny.

This pedal use 9 or 18 V and 1 A?
9V
But why mine doesn't sound like that?!
Because your playing stinks :) lol. This video was recorded with the camera's microphone so you're not hearing true representation.
