Gaza/attacks on Israel and Egypt. And their leadership decides to support Saddam in the Iraq war, resulting in the expulsion over hundreds of thousands of Palestinian workers from Kuwait and KSA.
When your leadership's position is that anyone that engages with Israel or pursues trying to make peace is a traitor, you will never lead your people to democratic nationhood What does liberated mean?
I had an exchange with a person, where I proposed a two state solution, and resettlement of refugees in the state, in a regional peace deal.
The person said that any two state solution would be cruel for Palestinians, and that they wanted “justice,” not a two state solution.
For them, the only solution is the final solution. Liberated means crushing the state of Israel. Palestine as an independent sovereign state has not existed yet for a number of reasons. Firstly the Palestinian leadership has failed to compromise and deal with the reality of Israel. The Palestinians refuse to compromise and work towards a two state solution. They are the victims of their own leadership or lack of. The “Palestine” called Gaza will only be free when the Islamic terrorist government that controls it is overthrown.
The West Bank “Palestine” will be free when a normal, educated sensible prime minister takes over.
Meanwhile the real “Palestine” already exists and is pretty free (almost democratic). It is just wrongly called Jordan. Palestine is free, just under another name. The free sovereign state of Jordan sits on almost 80% of historic Palestine, and with lot of Palestinian Arab people live there
Why is that not enough? Israel won Gaza on 1967. They tried to give it back to Egypt. Egypt woukd not take it.
In 2005 Israel removed all its citizens from Gaza, left behind state of the art greenhouses as a gift, and told the Gazans they could rule themselves. GaA had ports, beaches, an open border with Israel and another with Egypt. Gaza had billions in charity flowing in from the UN and around the world. Israel hoped, hoped, hoped that Gazans would build themselves a great province. Israel stood ready to help.
In 2006, the people of Gaza formed political parties and campaigned on platforms. The people went to the polls.
Who did they elect? A jihadist militia that had spent the past ten years firing missiles at Israeli civilians. Hamas. The people’s choice!
Hamas took office and fulfilled their promise to the people: they aimed their missiles at Israel’s people. They declared war on Israel. They stated their plan to import big weapons and then swarm across Israel killing every Jew - babies, kids dancing at a rave, etc - and turn Israel into a Muslim theocracy.
THIS DECLARED WAR, THIS PLAN TO SLAUGHTER AND INVADE, RESULTED IN ISRAEL CLOSING THE BORDER AND BLOCKADING THE SEA TO LIMIT WEAPON IMPORTS BY THE PEOPLE WHO HAD JUST DECLARED WAR. .
And for 16 years of rule, Gaza’s elected government never changed tactics, never discussed a peace treaty or an end of jihadism.
And for 16 years, Israeli civilians have been fired on and have run for safety. And Israel has sometimes fired back. Trying to keep Gaza in check.
And now Hamas has done exactly what they have been doing all along - trying to kill Israel’s civilians. Exactly what they got elected to do..
So: what woukd I have done if I were Gazan? Back in 2005 to 2006, I woukd have organized and campaigned for a political party that ran on the platform “Let’s Build Palestine:”. And I would have gotten elected. And I would have corralled all my Palestinian neighbors into building a shining land of tech and tourism and education. (I would also have pushed social programs like family planning , women’s shelters, early childhood education, sports leagues for girls and boys).
BUT for that to have happened, there would have to be a sizeable number of Gazans who wanted a political party like that and woukd stand with me and rally beside me and get to work.
And apparently: there were none. There are over five million Palestinians in Israel and it is never correct to say millions of people are bad or good.
But Israel is now fighting Hamas. Hamas who are a militant Islamic dictatorship that have been governing the Palestinians. And yes they are bad people. They sneaked into our country on October 7 and butchered, gang raped, mutilated and burned alive 1400 people including babies! They hide underground and leave their people above so that they can show off the dead bodies for propaganda! The Israeli army has cleared two roads for the Palestinians to go south and leave the war zone, and the Israelis have to guard the roads, because Hamas shoot at their own Palestinian people when they try to leave!
So yes, Hamas are bad people. Palestine was area not a country the romans change the name as revenge on the jews the rename it from the ancient enemies of the jews Philistines and everybody that lived in that area called Palestinian whatever if he was Jew or arab but only the arab choose to adopt it. I'm so proud of our youth. I never ever thought I'd see in my lifetime protests that are LARGER than when our youth were protesting against Vietnam.

"Женщинам отрезали ноги. Кажется, у всех женщин, которых мы видели, были искалечены гениталии. Похоже, имели место систематические калечащие действия с женскими половыми органами", - отметила Мендес.
Она рассказала, что многие тела были настолько сильно повреждены, что ей с коллегами пришлось приложить неимоверные усилия, чтобы одеть их для захоронения.

No, we are not pro-Hamas cause we value logic over emotions. It's not as easy to trick us with obvious loaded language. We understand there is context to everything.

They sneaked into our country on October 7 and butchered, gang raped, mutilated and burned alive 1400 people including babies! The Israeli army has cleared two roads for the Palestinians to go south and leave the war zone, and the Israelis have to guard the roads, because Hamas shoot at their own Palestinian people when they try to leave!
