, just What's with US gamers and that Game? 3 CapCom games here, (and 1 that was not even on the list) are easily better than SOR2, let alone 1.

But the character/action audio was so bad on SG. In a beat em up, this flaw happens every couple of seconds of every one of these games. Fighting games, as well! If you've played an SNES first, this is really annoying and--for me--makes the game not worth playing...

Yep, sound on Genesis was not best feature... Thanks for your comment!

@@MakaimuraKiu Yeah, I owned both systems. But, I think both systems are close enough everywhere else; yet, the character/action and, sometimes, speaking audio were horrible(The announcer saying Sega in the Sonic & Knuckles game shows you this flaw). The people that hyped SG over SNES grew up with SG and were biased to it, bought into its ability to generate the speed of Sonic games, and/or never owned an SNES, because the difference in sound quality is mindblowing!
The SG's song audio is pretty good from what I remember, but playing SOR or MK and--hearing the moaning sound effects of an attack THROUGHOUT and not just a few places--made me cringe to play them! If it wasn't so many games that fall under the beat em up and fighting game umbrella, then I could give it to Sega Genesis. However, because SNES lacks this critical system drop-off in many games and it still provides a great experience in its games, the SNES wins

Yep you're right, Final Fight appeared on arcades in 1989, I've included it because the console versions were published in the early 90s. Thanks for your comment!

I think TMNT and Final Fight arcade versions should be on list over other versions. I also prefer Ninja Warriors SNES over arcade but that one is not as bad. Also don't listen to these other guys.... SOR 2 is overrated. I will take SOR 1 all day over it.

@@MakaimuraKiu Arcade version. I owned Sega CD version back in the day which was decent but the Arcade is noticeably better in every way except BGM which Sega CD is slightly better/different. This needed a Saturn port along with Cadillacs/TMNT 1st Arcade/Simpsons. I wish they would have made beefed up SOR and Golden Axe(in Genesis 1/2 style) for Saturn as well. I could go all day on how Sega effed up the Saturn and it's game library.
