Since I started learning about the law of attraction, my brain decided to plant the idea in my head that I'm going to manifest my heart exploding! And it's become an OCD thought (I have OCD) and it gets so bad at times that I feel muscle cramps in my chest! It's awful. I've been able to let it go more and more as time moves on, but listening to people talk about manifestation and LOA always brings up the thought again for me. My brain really sucks sometimes 😆😫 I'm going to practice your tips and see what happens lol.
Hi Christina. First and foremost, I want to thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge with the world. I am a social worker and I am working towards becoming a licensed therapist, and find your content helpful in my life and helping others. My negative thoughts are primarily about self worth and feeling worthy, especially in personal relationships. I’m a true empath, and have always seen that as a weakness, by being overly sensitive, and I feel things on levels that most of my family and friends don’t understand. Most of my partners has been and my current husband is very over bearing, which ties in with the empath, narcissist relationship dynamic. Through your coaching videos, I recognized that I have codependency issues, and that is where I believe my feelings of a lack of self worth stems from. There is a lot of pain here, and I have more to tell, but not publicly. Thank you for what you do, you are a blessing to the world.

i once read somewhere that a kid avoided his family because he had intrusive thoughts about hurting them (he didn't want to) but he didn't understand what was going on. You should have these kind of videos for children and teens it would literally be a life saver especially if the child is a sensitive or empath and they have no idea what it even means. Negative emotions = negative energy and thoughts you’re attracting yourself. It make sense because as humans we complicate our emotions by attracting negative energy. When we don’t shift to positive mindset it causes ourselves stress, pain, and so forth.

I'm a sensitive empath. I tell people I read between the lines of what they say. I'm really reading their energy I guess. I'm triggered by low vibration and sometimes with my boyfriend it sets off a defensive response by me and battle begins. I'm usually quiet and that's where my power lies. I have been dealing with intrusive thoughts for years. Only recently I have been having a major problem with them. I’m gonna try, been saying that these thoughts aren’t mine. I’ve been treating these thoughts like meditation, just let them go. It’s hard though because a lot of them are toward someone I care about. Anyways great video I needed this video.

You did it again! I literally just got off the phone with a really good friend of mine and I was talking to her about finding a way to deal with the negativity that is thrown at me within my business. People demand from me in really negative ways and I am trying to learn how to not react to it. But fear drives me because I get extorted into giving them way too much and more than they pay for because of threats of hurting my business via the internet thus threatening my survival. I am still learning and when this happens it freaks me out but I know my freak out is fear-based and I don't need to react. It's so much easier for me when it comes to the people I know but random strangers that are living under the vail of consciousness attacking me through my means of survival is a tough one to work with for me. I’m only on Facebook and Twitter ...and now RUclips but literally all humans should hear your message, in whatever parts their soul needs them to listen to. I hope it’s Okay to share.
Basically Christina is just saying, "Don't let things get to you emotionally. Realize they are mostly unimportant items and just let them go. But if some items get past this first line of defense, then do another round of letting go directed towards those particular items"; which is totally intelligent advice. But I would like to add another preemptive tactic. WATCH AS LITTLE STANDARD NEWS AS POSSIBLE. Why? Because almost all of it is centered on negative items/events. News sources/producers believe that negative news attracts the most viewers. So the news is mostly toxic pollution to a mind that is attached to your physical body consciousness. Especially avoid international news. Admittedly, this will give you less to talk about when you get together with your friends and family, but rehashing negative news stories with them actually will only further imprint their negativity into your mind and make it more likely that you will generate emotions about them.

I am so glad that I have found you and your videos. You have given me a whole new perspective on life. Recently, a 7 year long relationship ended (not my choice) and I was really struggling and very lost, I was even contemplating suicide. I kept having these dreams about angels and spirit guides and so a few days ago I started watching your videos after typing spirituality 101 into youtube search bar. Wow I am so grateful I did! In just a few days you have accomplished what I’ve been trying to do my whole life and I am 35. I am so excited about this journey now and it's had been a very long time since I’ve been excited about living. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Regular mindfulness meditation like vipassana (focus on your breath) helps to sharpen your consciousness. You can train this, that means sit/meditate every day even if there is no specific negative thought loop at the moment. Train yourself in non-judgement and awareness of the moment.... and be compassionate with yourself if this "stopping" does not "work" immediately. I love Christinas advice, still it shall be mentioned that this is not a one-time-then-done practice. Thank you for this Chistina! I am a very sensitive empath I’ve been told I’m like a sponge that absorbs everybody’s energy so I really needed to hear this😊
The visualization that has helped me "fall/pull back" from the thoughts and assume the position of witness: if you shoot a basketball, you look straight at the target, shoot the ball, and literally fall back. So the thought is nagging you, you give it only as much attention and awareness as necessary, and then fall back. You know that shot is over and then you will re-orient, back and forth, again and again. So I visualize the thought as some solid entity, imagine just pulling back focus like a camera lens. You now know how to distance yourself from the thought. But now you are a person who is witnessing, you identify as that, and then pull back and realize that's not you either. So it is a constant stream/dance/flow of seeing, acknowledging, falling back/distancing, re-orienting/seeing/focusing/pulling back. Eventually you realize that no matter how much you fall back, there will always be something that grabs your attention. Those things will always be in Flux and you realize it is easier to ride the wave than control the water. You just pull back, and pull back, only to realize that there is always enough space for things to come and go. You hold that wide open space for yourself, so you honor those thoughts by giving them room to breathe. Eventually there is so much space that you are able to perceive all different thoughts buzzing around at once, and you are allowed to choose any one you want. The more space, the more they can reveal themselves to your conscious as useful or not. Whichever one you pick, you will identify with for however long, until your soul needs to pull back again. It does take discipline/practice but the more you can use that skill, the more ease you will have navigating and swimming through it all. And who doesn't love swimming? (Or basketball 🏀☺) Thank you Christina for sharing this video and for all that you do. 🙏

I’m always thinking negative thoughts due to worrying about my adult daughter....I’m always fearful of what might happen. I worry about everything!!! This is my first video 🥰
I think separating an emotional response from a negative thought is like trying to separate food from taste. When a negative thought pops up recognize it for its frequency, ignore it, and drop it like a hot potato as if it never was. As you become more aware of your thoughts that alone allows you to drop it before it multiplies and expands.
Thanks for this informative and helpful video! I do struggle with intrusive thoughts. I''m not conscious of having a lot of them, but they do upset me. This video is so freeing! As a Christian, I was trained to judge my thoughts and if they were bad then I was told I was a bad person. I believe you are correct when you say this is not so! What a relief. I find it interesting that I experience the thoughts mostly when I am trying to make a spiritual connection with my guides or other spiritual encounter. I'm not sure yet why this is so. When that negative thought pops in, ask: who does this belong to? If it feels light it's yours, if it's heavy it's someone else's. SOOO helpful! Thank you Christina! I love how you take big esoteric spiritual ideas and communicate them in simple, practical ways that are grounded in "real life" so the information is relatable and digestible. Often it feels like thoughts think me and take me for a roller coaster ride and it takes SO much effort to bring consciousness to them so detach myself from them, especially when trauma is triggered. It just happens automatically and then after the fact I am able to observe what happened. I know it will get easier the more I practice, but it takes so much discipline to do so right now. i'm just now getting to the end and the part where you talked about moving away from a thought really resonated with me. i found that a lot of times if i'm stuck in a negative mental rut i'm usually sitting down or laying down and without even trying, just getting up and moving away from the spot i was in clears the energy around me which helps me to clear the energy within me.
I do struggle with my emotions as well as my family struggles with emotions too I've always felt like a burden to everybody so I do my best to hide away thank you for your loving teachings I do find it hard to listen and understand what people are trying to say to me because my head is so full of things and I am no good at being consistent I do my best at what I can do and I try not to worry that my best is not good enough thank you for helping me to find my my inner child you have been a godsend
Excellent video and very timely. Experiencing a kundalini awakening and a lot of thoughts and emotions (anger and grief) from past abuse are coming up. I am working to clear my karma but these thoughts keep arising which tell me that I have more work to do. Using this advice to help this process along.

One thing that helps me is to be honest with myself when I get an intrusive thought is to be honest with myself first and awknowledge that this or that thought bothers me. Because if I say for example, that 'im not bothered by it, but...' and then start talking about how it bothers me, makes me already feel like I'm lying to myself and the other person I'm talking to, just adding to the negative emation also low-key guilt that now I'm also lying. So one step for me is defo being honest with myself, that I am, indeed, bothered by the thought. Edit: n yes, I'm a virgo so lying is a big deal for me🤣🤷

I put my negative thoughts in a boat and ship them out to sea. I also visualize handing those negative thoughts to God, and replacing those thoughts with positive ones. Crazy but it’s helped me get thru some tough times recently.

Very timely... but I think I have to com back to this when I have a clearer head. A succession of "negative" events happening recently have lead to negative thoughts/feelings, chronic stress and anxiety, leading to physical pain and exhaustion, and my emotions getting me down. But I will come back to this.. thank you
I didn't feel the collective during the original shut down from the virus… Honestly I felt ambitious and thankful that I had a place to stay and be safe and I felt like a lot of people felt that… I trusted the country and I knew in my heart the grocery stores would never close permanently and things like that

Since I started learning about the law of attraction, my brain decided to plant the idea in my head that I'm going to manifest my heart exploding! And it's become an OCD thought (I have OCD) and it gets so bad at times that I feel muscle cramps in my chest! It's awful. I've been able to let it go more and more as time moves on, but listening to people talk about manifestation and LOA always brings up the thought again for me. My brain really sucks sometimes 😆😫 I'm going to practice your tips and see what happens lol.

Hi Christina. First and foremost, I want to thank you for sharing your incredible knowledge with the world. I am a social worker and I am working towards becoming a licensed therapist, and find your content helpful in my life and helping others. My negative thoughts are primarily about self worth and feeling worthy, especially in personal relationships. I’m a true empath, and have always seen that as a weakness, by being overly sensitive, and I feel things on levels that most of my family and friends don’t understand. Most of my partners has been and my current husband is very over bearing, which ties in with the empath, narcissist relationship dynamic. Through your coaching videos, I recognized that I have codependency issues, and that is where I believe my feelings of a lack of self worth stems from. There is a lot of pain here, and I have more to tell, but not publicly. Thank you for what you do, you are a blessing to the world.

i once read somewhere that a kid avoided his family because he had intrusive thoughts about hurting them (he didn't want to) but he didn't understand what was going on. You should have these kind of videos for children and teens it would literally be a life saver especially if the child is a sensitive or empath and they have no idea what it even means. Negative emotions = negative energy and thoughts you’re attracting yourself. It make sense because as humans we complicate our emotions by attracting negative energy. When we don’t shift to positive mindset it causes ourselves stress, pain, and so forth.
It’s not just positive mindsets, we need to detach from all of them at times. Balance is key

I'm a sensitive empath. I tell people I read between the lines of what they say. I'm really reading their energy I guess. I'm triggered by low vibration and sometimes with my boyfriend it sets off a defensive response by me and battle begins. I'm usually quiet and that's where my power lies. I have been dealing with intrusive thoughts for years. Only recently I have been having a major problem with them. I’m gonna try, been saying that these thoughts aren’t mine. I’ve been treating these thoughts like meditation, just let them go. It’s hard though because a lot of them are toward someone I care about. Anyways great video I needed this video.

You did it again! I literally just got off the phone with a really good friend of mine and I was talking to her about finding a way to deal with the negativity that is thrown at me within my business. People demand from me in really negative ways and I am trying to learn how to not react to it. But fear drives me because I get extorted into giving them way too much and more than they pay for because of threats of hurting my business via the internet thus threatening my survival. I am still learning and when this happens it freaks me out but I know my freak out is fear-based and I don't need to react. It's so much easier for me when it comes to the people I know but random strangers that are living under the vail of consciousness attacking me through my means of survival is a tough one to work with for me. Then I go on to youtube and here is your amazing guidance AGAIN helping me work this problem out... I am watching this 50 million times and I have the workbook downloaded soon to be printed! I finally finished this video tonight. My heart is so full of love. I just want to share this video and you to everyone I know. I’m only on Facebook and Twitter ...and now RUclips but literally all humans should hear your message, in whatever parts their soul needs them to listen to. I hope it’s Okay to share.
Basically Christina is just saying, "Don't let things get to you emotionally. Realize they are mostly unimportant items and just let them go. But if some items get past this first line of defense, then do another round of letting go directed towards those particular items"; which is totally intelligent advice. But I would like to add another preemptive tactic. WATCH AS LITTLE STANDARD NEWS AS POSSIBLE. Why? Because almost all of it is centered on negative items/events. News sources/producers believe that negative news attracts the most viewers. So the news is mostly toxic pollution to a mind that is attached to your physical body consciousness. Especially avoid international news. Admittedly, this will give you less to talk about when you get together with your friends and family, but rehashing negative news stories with them actually will only further imprint their negativity into your mind and make it more likely that you will generate emotions about them.

Recently, a 7 year long relationship ended (not my choice) and I was really struggling and very lost, I was even contemplating suicide.

Regular mindfulness meditation like vipassana (focus on your breath) helps to sharpen your consciousness. You can train this, that means sit/meditate every day even if there is no specific negative thought loop at the moment. Train yourself in non-judgement and awareness of the moment.... and be compassionate with yourself if this "stopping" does not "work" immediately. I love Christinas advice, still it shall be mentioned that this is not a one-time-then-done practice. May everybody be brave, compassionate and held during our journeys, thanks Christina, much love 🤗🌟

I got your email about this new video first exactly when I was feeling fear and anxiety. I am now calm and excited about this beautiful day! 🙏
The visualization that has helped me "fall/pull back" from the thoughts and assume the position of witness: if you shoot a basketball, you look straight at the target, shoot the ball, and literally fall back. So the thought is nagging you, you give it only as much attention and awareness as necessary, and then fall back. You know that shot is over and then you will re-orient, back and forth, again and again. So I visualize the thought as some solid entity, imagine just pulling back focus like a camera lens. You now know how to distance yourself from the thought. But now you are a person who is witnessing, you identify as that, and then pull back and realize that's not you either. So it is a constant stream/dance/flow of seeing, acknowledging, falling back/distancing, re-orienting/seeing/focusing/pulling back. Eventually you realize that no matter how much you fall back, there will always be something that grabs your attention. Those things will always be in Flux and you realize it is easier to ride the wave than control the water. You just pull back, and pull back, only to realize that there is always enough space for things to come and go. You hold that wide open space for yourself, so you honor those thoughts by giving them room to breathe. Eventually there is so much space that you are able to perceive all different thoughts buzzing around at once, and you are allowed to choose any one you want. The more space, the more they can reveal themselves to your conscious as useful or not. Whichever one you pick, you will identify with for however long, until your soul needs to pull back again. It does take discipline/practice but the more you can use that skill, the more ease you will have navigating and swimming through it all. And who doesn't love swimming? (Or basketball 🏀☺)

I think separating an emotional response from a negative thought is like trying to separate food from taste. When a negative thought pops up recognize it for its frequency, ignore it, and drop it like a hot potato as if it never was. As you become more aware of your thoughts that alone allows you to drop it before it multiplies and expands.

Thanks for this informative and helpful video! I do struggle with intrusive thoughts. I''m not conscious of having a lot of them, but they do upset me. This video is so freeing! As a Christian, I was trained to judge my thoughts and if they were bad then I was told I was a bad person. I believe you are correct when you say this is not so! What a relief. I find it interesting that I experience the thoughts mostly when I am trying to make a spiritual connection with my guides or other spiritual encounter. I'm not sure yet why this is so. Currently busy with access bars and recently learned a very useful tool especially when dealing with the collective.
When that negative thought pops in, ask: who does this belong to? If it feels light it's yours, if it's heavy it's someone else's. Just say 'return to sender'

It makes sense. Out of nowhere some weird negative thought comes in to my mind and I say, “ wow where is this coming from? this is not me”. It’s from other people. Often it feels like thoughts think me and take me for a roller coaster ride and it takes SO much effort to bring consciousness to them so detach myself from them, especially when trauma is triggered. It just happens automatically and then after the fact I am able to observe what happened. I know it will get easier the more I practice, but it takes so much discipline to do so right now. These tools are incredibly helpful and I will definitely be applying them. I am so thankful for you!!

i'm just now getting to the end and the part where you talked about moving away from a thought really resonated with me. i found that a lot of times if i'm stuck in a negative mental rut i'm usually sitting down or laying down and without even trying, just getting up and moving away from the spot i was in clears the energy around me which helps me to clear the energy within me.

Excellent video and very timely. Experiencing a kundalini awakening and a lot of thoughts and emotions (anger and grief) from past abuse are coming up. I am working to clear my karma but these thoughts keep arising which tell me that I have more work to do. Using this advice to help this process along.

One thing that helps me is to be honest with myself when I get an intrusive thought is to be honest with myself first and awknowledge that this or that thought bothers me. Because if I say for example, that 'im not bothered by it, but...' and then start talking about how it bothers me, makes me already feel like I'm lying to myself and the other person I'm talking to, just adding to the negative emation also low-key guilt that now I'm also lying. So one step for me is defo being honest with myself, that I am, indeed, bothered by the thought.
Edit: n yes, I'm a virgo so lying is a big deal for me🤣🤷

I put my negative thoughts in a boat and ship them out to sea. I also visualize handing those negative thoughts to God, and replacing those thoughts with positive ones. Crazy but it’s helped me get thru some tough times recently.

Some of these negative thoughts have been on a loop for my entire life, it's actually amazing to begin to release their pattern and recognise that I am so much more than I used to believe, the more I release these mind patterns the more I realise how illusionary these thinking patterns are. I like what you say about taking the perspective of the soul... Lately I've been talking/coaching myself from the soul to body perspective and it's been very reassuring and comforting!

Very timely... but I think I have to com back to this when I have a clearer head. A succession of "negative" events happening recently have lead to negative thoughts/feelings, chronic stress and anxiety, leading to physical pain and exhaustion, and my emotions getting me down. But I will come back to this.. thank you
I didn't feel the collective during the original shut down from the virus… Honestly I felt ambitious and thankful that I had a place to stay and be safe and I felt like a lot of people felt that… I trusted the country and I knew in my heart the grocery stores would never close permanently and things like that
