Honestly, Donna and the Dynamos were WAY TOO OLD in the first movie. BAsed on what we know from the second movie, Donna went on her adventures when she was like 23 so by the time of the wedding, her daughter would have been around the same age, therefore, the adults should have been 45, at most, they all look like they're atleast 55/60.
They probably didn’t think about that as it was quite along time in between films.
Christine Beranski looked about 45 in the first film (even though she was way older) and Meryl didn't look too much older than that

Donna reused the song!!!
Of all the songs in both movies, "When I Kissed the Teacher" is the only one I didn't like, maybe because the gender of the teacher was changed, and her "falling in love"/"having a crush" on a female teacher did not fit Donna's personality at all, from what we saw in the first movie, which was reinforced in the second. It was nice, however, to see Bjorn do a cameo in the second movie, where Benny had done a cameo in the first one (during "Dancing Queen").
