I get that they needed to call of the wedding so Donna and Sam could step in, but I would have preferred Sophie saying something along the lines of apologising to Sky for prioritising finding her dad as the goal of the wedding, and suggesting a do-over later that was really about them? This is one of the truly satisfying, entertaining, conclusions to ANY movie (and you know that because it soars to greatness despite Brosnon's total lack of singing ability.
Rubbish. His singing is fine. And besides, the character he is playing is the boyfriend of a singer, so why would a boyfriend of a singer be a great singer? It's a naturalistic musical not a Hollywood musical -- different genre altogether.

I really love this movie when I was a teen the first time I watched it, and I still love it until today, BUT, really watching this again as an adult I feel bad for Sky, imagine your wedding being kind of overshadow by something like this.
